Still holding hope that you'll do a Whatever Happened To Ugly Kid Joe video. A video on UKJ's singer Whitfield Crane's failed Y2K-era alt-metal/nu metal supergroup Medication (a one-hit/one-album wonder best known for the 2002 minor rock radio hit single "Inside") would be great, also. Medication also featured members of nu metal bands Machinehead and Soulfly, along with 90's industrial metal band Skrew.

Agreed. Love the name and that combination of talented musicians. Excellent stuff. Also, wasn't mentioned in the vid, but the flame-ish shape logo/figure came to Cornell in a dream, and apparently so did the name...Cornell had vivid dreams and wrote tons of lyrics based on visuals as well as words from his dream-state.

Ssooo, nothing about, as a part of Audioslave, Chris Cornell was doing all of the songwriting & this made Cornell feel cheated since all of the royalties for were divided up evenly, 25% to each band-member. Cornell was said to have offered a consolation prize to the three other members of Audioslave, where Cornell would receive 70% of the royalties and the other three would receive 10% each, for the songs that Cornell wrote. The other three members of the band, apparently, felt insulted by this & flatly turned it down & for Cornell that was the final straw. I heard that Cornell would later say that he felt forced out of the band, saying that he felt like they were stealing from him & had disrespected him based on how they acted like the offer was insulting, an offer that Cornell thought was more than generous. This could be just a misconstrued rumor based on innuendo & speculation; but, it definitely sounded believable.

Left out the Scream era. The album critics hated, fans loved, and Justin Timberfake and hoards of rappers and r&b artists would steal from. Sorry to burst any bubbles if any, but the Melvins are not the "godfathers of grunge". Soundgarden formed in the early 80s about the same time even though Ultra Mega OK would not be released until years later. Chris Cornell is the most underrated voice in rock. Chris's voice is to modern rock what Plant's voice was to the 70s, but with more depth, range, and edge. Further, not to sound like any nuts on KZbin, since I predate it, Chris didn't commit suicide. He and Chester were part of a documentary exposing powerful pedophiles in Hollywood and music. Only a moron would deny John Podesta wasn't Chester's real dad after observation and research. In fact, the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins that Alec Baldwin fatally shot, was also involved on the same exact project. I wish I had been Christopher John Boyle's real life friend. No guarantee, and I'm neither right nor left, but if I could've persuaded him away from the liberal evil with thin veiled good heart guises and away from Toni, (orcas I call her Courtney 2.0) , he might still be alive today. Wishful thinking.

The first time I saw Chris Cornell was 11-19-1999 at the State Theater in Detroit. ...I saw Audioslave 4-25-2005 at the State Theater .. then I saw Audioslave 11-6-2005 at the Fox Theater in Detroit, then I saw Audioslave 11-9-2005 at the Deltaplex in Grand Rapids .. the last time I saw Chris was 1-27-2013 with Soundgarden at the Fillmore in Detroit which used to be the State Theater... Chris Cornell was absolutely brilliant singer I was fortunate to see him on the Euphoria morning tour... for me that was his most intimate personal tour ... although the other four shows were great

You would think that literally GOING TO CUBA and seeing the desolation that communism can cause, the absolute destruction of a people, that Tom wouldn't be simping for socialism. He wouldn't have his job or his status with a government like that.

Chris Cornell proves you can be an amazing singer and even a good person and STILL be an idiot when it comes to politics and wanting what’s best for the country! This is EXACTLY why I wish more celebrities and musicians would keep their political opinions to themselves because once I find out someone is a communist (the party that was FORMERLY KNOWN as “democrats”) I will never be able to look at them the same way again. Thankfully it isn’t all of them and in fact there are even some who have the guts to stand up and show love, appreciation, and pride in this great country!!!

Only time chris douched it first saying they saved his life and then assholing out of the band. But still the greatest rock vocalist alongside layne. They had so many leftover songs, raw cuts demoed to perfection.

Audioslave’s first album was amazing second album was pretty good the third album only had one good song I forget the one song name but once it got to the guitar solo I was just like what the fuck kind of solo is that it doesn’t even go with the music at all it ruined the entire song because that was the second song I would’ve said was good in that album but I guitar solo was beyond crap.

I really like Audioslave. And I'm fine that they only released 3 albums. The first album was fire. The second album was pretty good. The third album was okay. Based on that trend, a fourth album would have been released only to meet record label obligations and probably would have been crap. We were spared that. Not every band, or project, is going to last. Sometimes it's short lived, and that's okay. Audioslave called it quits at the right time and should be proud of what they released.

I saw Audioslave in Chicago during their first tour in 2003 at the Riv. They were fantastic, wild and sounded like gods. I was in the front row to the right with long bright red hair and Chris stared right at me singing the line "every drop of flame". I will never, ever forget that night.
