And then the drummer is wearing a Seattle t-shirt -- that's not too far from my stomping grounds, altho' … off the top of my head, I'm not sure which is closer, Seattle … or Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park. (okay, okay, it's a ref. to a baseball club …) Little doubt, if he were still around, Peter Rainier would be proud in any case. :-)

Just saw them live in Dallas where they again kicked off their new world tour. Incredible experiencing them up close. The sound of KT on the bass is so incredible - sometimes feels a little drowned out on some recordings. It's definitely worth every dollar to see them live!!

This might be my new favourite band. They have a perfect mix of upbeat math rock and jazz. I love the bassist. I love that the bass is almost the "star" instrument in their music. It's just brilliant. I could listen to their work all day. I would give my right arm to be able to compose music like this.

Honestly, Math Rock is just the perfect Genre. It's always so beautifully melodic while the rhythms and harmonies are so intriguing. When you have the time, it's absolutely worth listening to the music very closely and discover every little thing that's going on. If you're busy, just let it play in the background and enjoy the mood. It just took the best parts from Rock, Pop and Jazz and combined it into this weirdly wonderful thing....

I've been following this band for a while now and seeing this makes me so happy. I nearly teared to spring rain too! For one of my audio engineering final projects I had to overdub a scene from cowboy bebop completely and I used spring rain as most of the background music....
