FYI the drummer from this era of the band, Jake, makes some super solid music under the name MJ Lenderman now. I highly recommend it. He still helps her with production for her newer stuff, tho.

I’ve seen Indigo and her band perform at St. Louis. Insane energy and all band members are great performers. It says a lot when all of them are dripping sweats after their session. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to.

They make playing these songs look so easy. I come from a pop punk screamo background playing in bands. Then I joined a band similar this sound. It was more challenging writing for music like this for sure. There are so many possibilities when to have high energy parts and when to dial it back to really show the emotion of the song and lyrics. It’s so awesome seeing them play live like this!
