thats sadly normal here. I can only assume they use such an outdated audio system as a decades old standard, only one out of my 5 headphone systems can make it sound fine. AudioTree really gets beaten by Hate5Six, a volunteer concert YT channel for Hardcore and The First Take from Japan.

@@dtrmnts if something is mastered on something like Yamaha NS 10 m or Sennheiser HD600 then there is a chance people overcompensate for certain regions in the frequency sepctrum. Using Neumann NDH30, Sony MDR M1ST, Sony MDR CD900st (Japanese JDM Only classic) and probably AudioTechnica AD900 / R90, audio is produced in a more flat manner and this means his voices are right inside the audio instead of raised in volume to the average of most music including The FIrst Take on KZbin, Hate5Six, KEX and more. The higher the price, the more worse music quality sounds or for insane price range, the more musical, but inaccurate it can get.

@bradonmelad1764 he definitely changed vocal styles from the original eps, but he still sounds as strong as ever. I think the impression you're getting might have to do with the mixing on this particular session, he's kinda getting overpowered I think. Still sounds great imo 😊
