I just want to be sure I understand the audit scope. So based on what you said does audit scope mean that it is not everything auditors are looking at? like it is the certain aspects auditors will audit or the part that auditors are focusing on to give the clients the reasonable assurance they need. Please respond I want to be sure I understand it properly.

Scope includes the areas to be audited, time periods, and the sample size. And as you said, the scope may not include every aspect. It's similar to project management concepts.
