That's exactly it , I have no interaction with police , I'm a law abiding citizen, up to about 2 years ago I believed the police were on our side , with seeing these videos and how they bullied and beat up innocent members of the public because of covid I will never trust them again, anyone arrested for covid were never charged and fines were never legal , they acted in such a way last year that will make me despise them , and when you watch an AB video then you know nothing changes with them. They cry and bitch in TV programs about the public not trusting them and they are always in danger etc... , well when they are acting as a gang under the banner of the Thin Blue Line and going round attacking people , then eventually people will defend themselves, maybe if they don't want to be attacked , learn a lesson in humility, and accept they are sometimes wrong, that way we all get on , instead of embarrassing themselves by doubling down on laws they know nothing about.

“ Excuse me sir, I’ve noticed that you’re sitting on a bench in a public space, an activity that doesn’t normally attract the attention of the police, but as you have a camera in your hand, I am bound by law to question you, treat you like a criminal and press you for your personal information “ CITIZEN: “ I’d rather not give my details as I have not broken a law and I don’t want my information in the police national computer” OFFICER: “ Ah ha. I find that very suspicious. In this day and age with terrorist threat level rising and the price of petrol rising too, we all have to do our bit and treat photographers as naughty people and intimidate them into needlessly giving up their rights and “ details” so we can sleep safely in our hammocks of a night” CITIZEN: Oh, I see officer. Well there are 627,000 CCTV cameras in London alone and between 14 to16 million of them in the country as a hole, According to government statistics, by 2022 there will be 54 million smart phones in circulation all of which have video cameras and the police and TFL use ANPR cameras recording cars and people by the millions every day. And last year the police announced that they are rolling out facial recognition camera vans into our streets to video passing faces. Oh and there is an estimated 10 million. Dash cameras fitted to trucks and cars ( including police cars ) constantly recording all over the country. And finally, citizen journalism is firmly established as part of present day life and footage from smart phones, of crimes and natural disasters regularly appears on our TV news. In fact, the police often appeal for citizens footage to help solve crimes. So it seems to me that the government regards photography as a perfectly legal activity. As legal as walking a dog or going shopping. That being the case, what is it about this ONE camera in MY hand that makes you feel the need to interrupt my peace and freedom to conduct what amounts to a police interview on the roadside? And if it’s because I pointed my camera briefly at a police station, can you tell me if police stations are exempt from photography and what other buildings in the country have special no photography status. Better still, can I have a list please? “

They still regard photography and filming as suspicious behaviour, contrary to their own policy which specifically instructs against such police conduct. Intimidation tactics, illegal assaults and unwarranted questions, illegal detention, arrest and kidnapping are all used by the police in many such circumstances. Yet, no effort is made to curtail such criminality by appropriate criminal charges being brought against the offending officers unless done so by the public privately. Why? The police actively protect themselves from prosecution via illegal means. Evidence disappears, police fabricate criminal intent and acts, they make false statements and threaten people with further escalated charges and actions. Why are the police permitted to police themselves? It's patently obvious that police policing themselves is both ludicrous and dangerous to all involved yet, it's still done with no end in sight. Therefore, in the absence of correct governmental policy on this and a great many other issues, it falls to the public for corrective measures.

"Art" I consider this video art .My friend was an artist in the 1980s/90s and was at the forefront of art depicting "Big Bother " type survalence that had arrived in cities, Many people considered him weird and many people bought his photo subject art But at end of day It is subjective "video performance art" And the police the stars or not ?
