What a gentleman .. nice one AB. That old lady was adorable and so welcoming and helpful, I totally would've folded too. Museums & galleries, especially when they're publicly funded, are specifically there for people to see .. the jobsworths have totally done a disservice to their communities by trying to stop recording. The old lady had completely the right attitude - perhaps she should be in charge with her experience and grace. Well handled AB .. pure class as always.

Filming through the gate?? There are people who do not understand simple physics. Cameras do not film into or through anything, they capture images which have already left places. The image captured by the camera is not at the other side of the gate, it has left that place and passed at the speed of light (which is very fast) into the public domain and that is where the camera captured it. Asking why someone is filming "through the gate" is a stupid question since the camera is capturing images which have entered the public domain.
