So many good tips in here that I will definitely be employing as I start my application and audition process in the fall. I'm trying so hard to be prepared that my anxiety is already kicking in to gear. The time limitation is overwhelming - I can find two one minute monologues easy, but knowing that I'm being timed from the time I slate and including my transition between scenes. It's good. I've got this. I've got so much to offer any school. Piece of cake.

I love your confidence! Bring that into the audition room. You can do it! For the time constraint, don’t be afraid to cut out part of the monologue if needed, as long as you keep the important moments in tact. I recommend seeking help from a professor or theatre friend if possible :)

Thanks! I’m looking to audition in NYC in 2022. By chance.. do you know what month registration is available? On the site it just says later in the summer. I’m curious to know if there is a window? Or if it is available all August-September.. thanks again!

Hi! It is a pretty big window from what I recall. It has been a few years though so I can’t remember exactly. I think the cutoff to register is mid-November. Not sure when it opens though!! Maybe late August? Sorry I can’t be more help with that!
