Thank you for all the helpful advice captain. I timestamped most questions so if anyone is looking for something specific look below, please: 7:44 - Q: What do you think are the most important skills/qualities someone should have as a Vtuber? 11:20 - Q: How should someone deal with sudden scuff during the interview stream? 13:22 - Q: What are a top 3 important tips you'd give someone before an interview? 17:32 - Q: With regard to the requirement of "You must be enthusiastic about taking on new challenges as a VTuber with us", what kind of challenges should be expected? 21:40 - Advice on “worrying about numbers” 25:05 - Q: If there are some things about streaming that you aren't familiar about, will they teach you how to do it? 25:58 - Q: Can you give advice to those who want to apply/audition but don't really have much experience when it comes to singing and speaking japanese? 31:32 - Q: There’s a section of the video but also a section of anything else we should know. What could someone provide in that section that will differ what’s in the video? 35:00 - Q: Are there any taboos to avoid that people may not know about? (For example, I remember someone mentioning how you should “unlist” your audition video) 42:05 - Q: What things should potential talents avoid doing in their audition videos? 45:12 - Q: Do you have any recommendations or advice in terms of including gameplay for the intro video? 48:10 - Q: With the time limit to the addition vid, how much you suggest putting in of each thing that we are proud of? 50:35 - Q: Do they expect a specific quality of content that is submitted or are they just ok if you have any content to share? Side note: Doing auditions gives you experience. Don’t be scared to audition multiple times. 58:45 - Q: For me the most confusing thing about audition process is the video you have to showcase. How is that supposed to look like? Unedited 5 minutes of gameplay? Compilation of stream fragments? (more in replies)

1:04:15 - Q: What kind of advice would you give to someone that’s still trying to find their streaming style or figuring out how they want to present themselves in the audition (beyond the obvious “be yourself”). 1:09:15 - Q: The only thing I am a bit still confused about is what should you talk about? Do you talk about your life experiences or your achievements like an interview or is it different? 1:13:22 - Q: Do you think that having certain skills that stand out can make up for the lack in other preferable ones? 1:14:00 - Q: If you could go back in time would you change anything about your audition? 1:14:32 - Q: Any motivational tips and tricks? 1:21:00 - Luci... 1:21:35 - Q: Do you have to audition with a preexisting idea, as yourself (like irl), or with an original idea to pitch? 1:25:50 - Q: Can an audition be so fire they replace a gen 1 by personally body slamming you to the curve? 1:26:24 - Q: Is it worth auditioning if you don't really have that much preexisting streaming experience? 1:30:00 - Q: How to deal with the nerves before and during the process of the audition? How to manage expectations throughout the process, especially when there’s potential for setbacks (rejection & scuff)? 1:40:00 - Q: Could give some kind of advice in general about the audition video process? 1:42:10 - Q: Does the avatar have to look like the silhouette? 1:47:50 - Q: What’s the toughest part of the audition process? 1:51:40 - Q: Inspiration to become a vtuber. 1:54:10 - Q: How can I be as awesome and as cool as Gale Galleon? 1:54:53 - Q: Pc/equipment requirements for streaming and best ways to get familiar with streaming software? 2:01:55 - Q: How to beat the nerves and remain confident during the process because of a negative mindset? 2:06:02 - Q: If we are uni students, would that help or hurt your chances? 2:06:52 - Q: If you have more pre-recorded and edited content as opposed to streaming content how do you highlight that as a skill still? 2:07:20 - Q: Would you recommend showing in-work skills? learning an instrument, a language, etc. 2:08:35 - Q: If you have a special talent/skill that you don’t want to be your main streaming style should you not emphasis it? 2:09:22 - Q: What if I don't have experience with streaming can I still get in? 2:10:45 - Q: Can I sing copyrighted popular songs for the audition? 2:12:58 - Q: Can the audition tape be edited? both to get rid of scuffs and show off editing skill. 2:14:38 - Q: When recording for the video such as voice acting and singing, what is your advice to help your voice to sound well for the video to avoid scuffing it like off-key? 2:19:50 - Q: Is it okay if the streams you're clipping are just from streaming to friends, not actual public stuff? 2:28:24 - Last words of encouragement Hope this is useful to anyone that had specific questions!

I just wanted to formally thank you for this stream. Your direct nature and general tips helped me rethink things completely with how I approached certain applications. Especially when it came to reformatting an introduction. Whilst things didn't pan out afterwards with what I applied for, the future and what it holds is always unpredictable. Cheers to you Captain.
