The way I'd say to apply this advice to playing a character as your VTuber persona is to MAKE SURE you pick a character that you can COMFORTABLY play for hours on end. As much as I love her, not trying to give her shit, I do love her, but she works really well as an example for this: Hime Hajime from VShojo is a perfect example of picking a character you can't really keep up for a long time. She is constantly breaking character, and she really didn't plan far enough ahead by making new accounts to hide her, very thinly veiled, real identity that she keeps twisting herself into knots to try and hide. Sometimes it feels like it's on purpose, but most of the time it just feels like she should have just been herself as a VTuber, rather than try and build a full character like she did. Again, I love Hime and her irl self, but sometimes it felt like she didn't treat becoming a character as if it were the serious commitment it needs to be to keep it up, as if she didn't respect how much goes into character streaming when she decided to do it. Awww sasuga Hana, she's so wise! I'm sure this will help people who wants to audition for male EN Liver.
