Hello. We are here in Texas and taking my grandson to UTMB in February. His hearing is great but I KNOW this is what is happening. My son dealt with these same issues. How do we ensure that UTMB in Houston will do the ASA and prescribe the hearing aids? (Providing they don’t see something else…which I know they won’t but we’ve not been able to get our hometown to do these) I’ll bring him to Utah if I need to! Please help! He just turned 6. He’s starting to get the frustration of not being able to communicate what he’s saying based on what he hears

Is this therapy also effective in older age? I`ve had this problem all my life, it makes me a lot of issues in my life

Auditory processing testing can be done on a child as young as 3 and a half.
