beautiful songs, proud to say that we are descendants of Whiteshell Woman, 'Nizhoni' .. from Toh ha li, (Toadlena) New Mexico. I am glad you still hold 'sacred' to these ceremonies, a very few of us still hold to keeping our ancestral ceremonies sacred, others have made a "show' of ceremonies. Hello! I watch a lot of these videos and I wonder if you could help me? In this ceremony, the young girl who will become White Painted Woman is accompagnied by another young girl, who dances with her. Is she a friend? A relative? And does she had already her ceremony or not? Thank you!
