Hi Audrey! I absolutely love this video - so helpful and inspiring! The beautiful button down you’re wearing is linking to the Sézane homepage for me - could you please update the link or let me know the name of the piece? Thank you! 💕

Hi Audrey. I would love to see you break down each style independently into a capsule wardrobe per style. Nothing too complicated maybe 10 or 12 pieces please. possibly with only one or two pair of shoes and one handbag each? You have such a realistic approach to what a "reaL" woman would actually be able to wear day to day! I would love to see "Edgy Style" first as well. Thanks!

Yes. Please present more outfit breakdown videos. All of these styles looked marvelous on you. I didn't expect the edgy looks from you, but they looked great. Loved the baggy trousers with sneaker look.

I like a sort of edgy romantic style. Normally I wear the kind of silhouettes that you described in the romantic segment of this video, but instead of light I go for more jewel toned, berry, wine or burgundy colours and combine with black. I like to feel like a princess with a bit more gothy/villain vibe. Lovely video, as always!❤

This is so clarifying! Particularly regarding "chic" style which i have struggled to find an appropriate definition for. I think understanding the concept of tension and expected versus unexpected is so key to making intentional style choices. I love that you gave going against your color pallet as an example of creating tension. It's helpful to know why you choose using tools or not using them to create an effect. Id love more aesthetic breakdowns like this

Very inspirational! Now I know I am very classic in my work life and rather edgy on the private side. I am very cool toned so there is no camel, brown or cream in my wardrobe. I mix black, all shades of greys, white and some (few) colours for "both styles". And I mix the items as well, my workday pants work wonderfully with a tshirt and my (very old) leather jacket. My very classy leather blazer goes perfectly well with a long, slouchy skirt ... you get the idea. I live in Vienna, Austria and "enjoy" four seasons. I recently made the effort and counted my clothes. I own around 100 items, outerwear included. Hats, scarfs, shoes and bags ... basically accessoires are not included although they do the work. I love mixing my styles as they represent some facettes of my personality.

I'm only now, at 54, accepting that I'm a classic dresser, and my uniform of slouchy wool or cashmere sweaters with jeans and beautiful boots and loafers is always going to be my jam. (Hot summer weather dressing I always find to be a challenge however.) Anytime I try to dress another style, I can feel that I'm off. Thank you also for your extensive links and suggestions for this video, so much detail!

It sounds like you're a Natural/Classic. A relaxed, more casual version of classic. Grace Kelly in the country vs Grace Kelly in the city.

Thank you for the fashion formulas! I'm a stay at home mom so my "uniform" is tees and jeans. But when I do dress "up" I like all styles : classic, edgy , chic. So shopping for clothes make it challenging because I can't focus on a particular style😂

Sort of Natural/Classic, it sounds like. Natural in the relaxed, sporty vibe, but classic in the timeless, quality look that means you can move toward dressy classic on the spectrum when the occasion calls for it. Does that sound right?

@@edennis8578 Well stated !! So much depends on our lifestyles , how we spend our time for work , downtime , hobbies , etc. As an outdoor person , I expect Lands End & LL Bean to send me an occasional thank you card ! 😂 After a recent visit to Talbotts , I actually got a nice handwritten note fr. " my " sales person . As a boomer , remember local stores doing that for their customers . Nice ! 🥰

I love your breakdown Audrey. I'm SOOO not into the classic style. I can't wear a black, camel or brown per say. I lean to whites, blues, reds and pinks and definitely I purchase anything with lacing, or anything that feels like a cloud. From this video, I can confirm I am definitely a 'Romantic'. When you said its not really encouraged much. When I'm out and about, I tend to grab attention (despite honestly looking simple). Sometimes I get complimented, sometimes I just get assessed lol. Either way, I love it! I'm actually considering buying a brown handbag....because I realise a white bag when I wear mostly white might be a bit much...More outfit breakdowns please!

I just watched a Dressi KZbin video about old money vs new money dressing. I'm pretty sure it's AI but you were shown multiple times as an example of old money style. You and the women of Milan! Not sure what KZbin copyright rules are, but at least the bot put you in the correct category.

Dear Audrey, this is SO good! Very well explained. I vividly saw my own style evolution from classic, over chic to now edgy, mixed with some romantic touches. I like all styles but I wore classic at work for many years and now as a mom I returned to edgy and romantic - which I already leaned towards as a teen, but now I can do it with actual understanding of colors, shapes, materials, etc. It’s sooo enjoyable since I now feel like I know the basic „rules“ and I know how to break them to create outfits that reflect my personality :) Thanks for your great content! ❤

I still think is edgy. Specially when you think some people would rather do a cardigan or a blazer instead. The hardware alone makes it edgy IMO
