Hey guys :) In today's video, I'm sharing my before and after results using rice water everyday for 7 days for hair growth! I was hesitant to try this out, because oftentimes rice water can make your hair brittle and dry if used in excess due to the protein overload. However, I adjusted the way that I applied it into my hair to hopefully help alleviate any dryness or brittleness that I might experience. Over the course of the 7 days, I experienced a lot of noticeable changes with my hair...so make sure to watch all the way until the end to see what happened!

@@littopear6266 hey i’m sorry! i haven’t gotten any notifications until now when someone asked for an update! but an update would be that it made my hair stronger. at first i left it in for 30 minutes once a week before showering, and it dried my hair out a lot. so then i started doing 15 minutes, but it didn’t really make a difference. then i started doing what audrey did and spray every night before bed, i only did it for like 1-2 weeks before i stopped. my hair definitely became stronger but i don’t think it did a lot more than that. at first i thought it grew faster but it seems to be growing at the same rate. it grows about an inch every month naturally. what i do now is i use oils a lot, so i highly recommend that! it makes your hair super silky and helps it not to dry out and also stimulates hair growth. so i recommend that and to massage it in with a scalp brush massager. i oil my ends everyday with a light hair oil and then i use castor oil and rosemary oil on the ends and the roots when it’s wash day ❤️

Mom tip. Keep that rice water up after the pregnancy because with the hormonal crash you will start loosing hair. Sometimes it can be so much. And rice water will help to prevent it from getting super thin.

If anyone is worried about getting all the rice water out (because of the protein overload that could potentially damage it if used too much)-baking soda can help rid your hair of the excess product buildup that hasn’t washed off in the shower. Just a tip if you’re worried about protein buildup

i shaved my head in May and it’s grown to an awkward length. i’m gonna do this and i’ll update for anyone who is curious. i’ve used rice water before but with a different method(in 2018) and it worked well. day 0(before i start, i put it in my hair after i measured): my hair is 2 1/2 inches day 1: about the same, my hair does feel a little dry, but not like super dry. day 2: just past 2.6 inches, almost 2.7 inches today!! not a huge growth but pretty impressive for only 2 days. day3: 2.9 inches. it’s only been three days and my hair has already grown almost 1/2 and inch! day 4: 3 inches! day 5: still about 3 inches. this will be my last update since i’m out of rice water and too lazy to make more lol. sorry for the late update btw.

I've been giving this rice water treatment a go, and have been alternating w castor oil. Started on 10/2. My hair in the front was reaching the middle of my Adams apple, and now it's to the bottom of the Adams apple. It grew about .75 inches in 12 days. Hey guys I tried it. When I first started it I didn’t take any measurements, it was just above my chest and is now mid-chest (don’t know if that helps). I didn’t have great healthy hair, I shed so much hair daily, my hair was very easy to break, and my hair hasn’t grown in years even when I rarely used any heat products (i only use straighteners) and when I do i’m always using heat protectant. I tried it for 10 days straight and am now giving my hair a break for a week or two as to not overload my hair with protein. Length wise it isn’t doing much for me (i havent straightened my hair since i started) BUT my hair texture is much smoother and less dry, it actually feels silky like, I have made a substantial decrease in shedding and my hair looks thicker and appears to have more volume. If anyone wants to try rice water daily without getting protein overload, I would recommend ONLY applying it to your SCALP. I am currently doing this for 2 months until June 1st to grow my hair out for the summer . I do it every other day and moisturize my hair and scalp. I wash my hair every two weeks. I also do the inversion method, deep condition, hot oil treatment, and massage my scalp.

i just shaved my hair and it's about 2 inch rn, last wednesday i try the method after leaving the rice water fermented for 24 hours, so it's been 6 days since i use rice water tbh there's nothing change until now but i do feel my hair is more thicker and healthier, so i'm thinking maybe i will try to use rice water everyday and every week since my hair is not a sensitive type one? but i/m confused should i leave my hair withour rinse for overnight then wash it in the morning or s it ok if i rinse it everytime i use rice water? pls reply guys i need help :(
