Thanks ... it certainly does . But hardest bit I guess is finding the time to get to the locations. Iv now done 8 videos and iv virtually covered every UK location with the exception of locations that aren't accessible, that have changed too much or not really significant 1s. Thanks for watching. I was born in 1987, so, wasn't around when the series 1&2 of AWP aired, but the show is my favourite comedy-drama and it's interesting to see that not a lot of the locations where there filmed those episodes as not changed a great deal over the years bar a few alterations to some of the buildings.

Love that series especially one and two. I didn't think the others were as good. Hoping I might watch them again on one of the streaming service like Britbox when I subscribe again. I hardly watch tv now its garbage compared with 80's and 90's

It was amusing as we were in knipton 1 of the locals actually said to us .."what are you doing around here,?" 🤣🤣.. honest , straight up. Well there was only 1 answer to that ..."everybody's got to be somewhere sir" 🤣🤣. Seriously tho , these locals were actually there when they filmed . 1 told us they used his barn and field to store filming equipment,, another told us they had to use 1 of their dogs to annoy that dog make it bark ,,, the "stunt" dog they brought in didn't work 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣👍.

Cleaning out the river and doing the drystone walling from Alport up to Middleton by Youlgreave. We were sitting in a caravan 300 yards away playing 3 card brag, seemed to take a long time the whole scene was only 2 or 3 minutes long. Saw the van and the red BMW. Goes without saying big big fan.

Finding them isnt the problem cos theres location info on the official awp site and loads of locations videos on KZbin.. the hardest part is finding time to go to them . Been too quite a few of these myself, was let into thornley manor in 2005, and visited some of the locations here, also found the office pub in Fuengirola and the brittania pub in the credits Anyone been to ally frazers villa in Spain and stayed there (the owners rent it out)

Good man ,,, you sound as bonkers about awp as me 🤣🤣. Mmmm.. allys villa. I tried booking it a couple of years ago , turned out to be a scam. It does look like it's up for holiday rental, and it's very affordable so it not out the reach for most fans. But I put word out on the main awp fan sites and not a single person had said they'd been, even tho loads had said they had booked allys villa. .... show us the photos then . Nothing . I'm not risking 2 grand on a scam. And I challenge anyone to prove me wrong.

I totally understand what you're saying there my friend ... and it wasn't until I cropped, sorted , and got enough pictures together for the length of the theme music , I then realised I should've put where each location is. Well short of starting all over again , I will edit the description on the video and put where the locations are , as long as it's not private address, then I'll put private. But when I get some time I will sort this , and on my other videos too.

I have updated the description on all my awp location videos, details of where they are can now be seen, unless they are private and the owners dont want the location to be known.. Apologies once again , I kept meaning to get round to doing it but as you can imagine it's quite time consuming.
