Chris at £20 is cheap .... Bill Paterson was £25.. still not bad ,, but ray Winston who played Colin in The Fugitive S1, he's showing at summer 2024, he's charging £65 per autograph... im giving that 1 a miss. Bit to proicy for me that

Yeah it was a very emotional experience. Not quite in the same style as he sung in series 2 , but brilliant all the same. He sang it more like the merl haggard original.

No this is the first time he appeared,,, at this 40th anniversary. He's a great bloke,, a real gentleman, and loved chatting awp and looking at photos from back in the day. I feel very lucky to av had time to chat with him ... thank goodness he's completely opposite to his heavy duty villain character

I know what you're saying... the sound was terrible at this venue . There are a couple of other similar videos like mine but their sound recording were even worse. There's not a lot we could do about it. I agree it's difficult to follow what's being said. They should've has a better sound system, but its an old theatre, bit like the land that time forgot

Yeah he was on the main row of 4 seats throughout the show , and im not sure why they took his chair away for the finale 🤔 🤷‍♂️

Unfortunately the instruction left by Jimmy nail was NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS.... Boohoo Hisss... otherwise I'd av done some more back stage youtube material ,,but I did take a few pics and iv posted them in some awp Facebook groups. Good man get those dvds out . When you watch the Thornely Manor 1s, make note of the front door.... cos my little claim to fame is that iv got that actual door at my house . Yes I agree, love Barry to bits ,, and im deeply Disappointed with him not showing up at the 40th . Apparently it crashed with him getting a bafta at some film awards or something.... no excuse for blowing out the lads tho.

Yes it was a great show ... but its a 1 off really . Can't see there being another 1. Its being able to get all those cast and crew together for 1. So many other commitments. This was the big 1.

Well that's what these comic con events are all about. The stars have to pay a substantial fee to be there so obviously they need to make cash. It's the opportunity for all the Sci fi geeks to meet the stars,, the venue get paid and the celebs do too. But to be honest £20 is on the cheap side. For example Ray Winston is doing this event in summer , and I'd love to get him , even tho he only played a small part in awp as Colin,, but he is charging £65 per autograph. I'm gonna have to pass on that .

He may be a good singer, great actor in awp , iv never watched his other stuff,, but its disappointing how he treats the fans. Iv always had an open mind and hear of how he is difficult to work with , demanding and controlling. But being at the show I found out there for myself he did not want any fans , no matter how big , to certainly not go back stage , he would not do photos or signing ls for fans waiting, and he left strict instructions at the aftershow party that only cast crew and families allowed, and no photos on mobiles were allowed... best of it was, he never even went. I managed to shoe horn myself into the aftershow and the word was that Jimmy controls everything. I was told to leave by 1 of the organisers, but other cast members wanted me to stay cos they knew I was a massive fan and deserved to be there , so their word out ranked the organisers.... but if Jimmy had been there , I'd av been hoyed out for sure. It's such a shame he's not like oz in real life ... disappointing,, I wouldn't go out my way to see him again.

I was there, it was filmed for either DVD or streaming release. There were cameras and film crew all over the City Hall. A sound engineer my mate spoke to also confirmed it.

Honestly, it was an absolutely brilliant show 👏🏻... loved every minute. And I was lucky enough to gain access to the aftershow party back at the hotel where they were all staying . Sadly Jimmy being Jimmy left strict instructions for no mobile cameras , so no photos. But he wasn't even there. Everyone else who was in the show was there . I managed to get a few sneaky pics with a lot of the cast but was looking over my shoulder incase they chucked us out lol.

This was a great show , and I managed to shoe horn my way into the aftershow, and I was lucky enough to meet the creator of awp Franc Roddam , and writers Stan Hey and Dick Clement. It was certainly a moment being in their company... geniuses, the lot of em 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

All of the cast and crew were back at the hotel except Jimmy and Julia.... im really disappointed I didn't meet Julia, but I kind of expected Jimmy to bugger off early.

It was a bit awkward at first in the after party cos I was told by the organisers I wasn't welcome and I had to leave ,,, but a bit of a chat with 1 of the cast members and I was allowed to stay..... but not allowed to take photos. But when Tim Healy saw me there he comes over and said awww Daniel you made it in then fantastic,, and he said let's have a photo... I said " Tim I can't, it's a good job iv got pics we you already because I'm not allowed to take any in here.".... he said "WHAT?!?.. who said that , so I told him and he said bollocks to that get your camera out "🤣🤣.... hes a great bloke. So I didn't get pics with everyone at the aftershow which I'm a bit sad about , but I spoke with everyone, and I did get a few pics.... even tho I was told not to ,,, but The Gaffers word is final as far as I'm concerned. I don't go looking for trouble ,,,, but trouble and me seem to go hand in hand. 🤣🤣🤣
