My parents were deaf, I am 71. I learned signs and English at the same time. I taught the Hearing Impaired. During my orientation at my first job, l had to sit in on all of the other classrooms. Many of the teachers were at the "see Dick and Jane run" level of signs. The kids were surprised when they saw my signs. Later they were a little sorry because they couldn't get away with as much! Dad lacked the bones in his middle ear. Mom had auditory nerve damage from high fevers as a baby.

Not to too much in your life but even since your teach it’s really important and I’m learning from your teachings….sometimes you talk as fast as you teach and a lil hard lol😊
