Watching pros hit is just as entertaining to me as matches

Both these boys rotate very well, I would t care about missing in practice as its practice, but the weight and shape of these balls is something scary

Thanks for the post, Joe. Felix just seems to have so much time to hit the ball - on both sides, that you never think he'll hit a bad shot. I know they're young, but I think Felix will eventually become a better player than 'El Shapo', if only because of his focus. Good luck to both!

Sam Shepard I agree their movement is unbelievable. I can’t tell myself who is better, they are both really fun to watch. Glad I was able to capture this!

Joe thanks for recording this . Wish you can do more videos from these tournaments. the one thing missing from the official recordings is the court level view - as you rightly said " .... sick ..." :)

It’s crazy how no one is watching this practice. I’ve been to Cincinnati a couple times and this practice would have at least 100 spectators

Wow they're really hammering the ball and missing tons. Those folks saying they can hit better are deluded. Go there and try hitting that level of pace and spin back and your racket will twist. Some of those groundstroke howitzers likely hit 100mph.

There is still work to do with Shapovalov's backhand..
@surfjabroni6 жыл бұрын
I think he has to slice more because he is so out of position with his aggressive BH topspin that his opponent just redirects it.
@peterhansen74106 жыл бұрын
I agree, he should use his slice more! His backhand is just to risky, because it's very agressive..

No se quien es el jugador derecho y quien es el zurdo pero el zurdo tiene muy poca regularidad, al derecho eso no le beneficia, ademas cuando el juego del otro es bajo uno tiende a bajar su juego

WONG Wrong yes these guys are total hacks. Right after this Felix was practicing with another terrible player, I think his name was Roger Federer or something like that
@archicad37176 жыл бұрын
I don't like Aliassime's forehand, he will have problems with it throughout his career. He hits it with his hand to much bent in the elbow. It needs to be perfectly/almost-perfectly straight like Federer/Delpo/Nadal/Rublev hit it. It something that good players naturally have I think and can be considered as talent.

I guess Djokovic isn’t a good player then? It’s what works for the players. There is no right or wrong stroke
@alessandroardu10593 жыл бұрын
What? His forehand is simply great, so much speed in the movement (and also great spin)
@aditvakil81612 жыл бұрын
there are plenty of phenomenal forehands that aren't straight arm though. what about fernando gonzalez, or djokovic?
