Funny you say that. We are working on an artificial sun light system that will hopefully read the shared memory to simulate the shadows and lighting.

Apart from excellent VR experience, I want to mention how good the terrain is... I believe that if devs will release the modding tools for new terrain engine (I believe they will) there will be amazing maps made by community using this new tech. It would be awesome if you share us some more gameplay footage :)

@@RainmanHST i´ve been waiting 33 years for VR. Started with "ACE" in my Timex 2068 around 1984, and since my early days i knew that someday VR will be possible. Bought my first headset in 2017 and never look back. In your case it´s on another level! Love your videos and your outstanding cockpit. I´m more a carrier ops guy (my beloved Hornet) but started to learn how to fly the Viper for learning new procedures, new systems, and i kinda love the Viper too. You can use the quest 1 IR sensors to make your tracking a little bit smoother and more dynamic.

Not that I'm aware of, as long as you have the IR Sensors from the original Oculus Quest 1 and plug them in, they should just be able to assist the tracking.@@Munky332

@@phil-1115 it’s quite easy now that is has been implemented in BMS. Once you tell VD to pass through Magenta colour you just toggle AR on in BMS. We made a cool toggle function so you can easily and quickly jump from AR to VR and it is seamless.

If you are using BMS it’s very easy. We did all for you in the latest U4 update. You just need to DL virtual desktop for Quest3 and then toggle the AR pit on with your assigned key stroke.

@@TNT-tf9jd yeah we chat quite often. I do believe he is working on that. And yes the HUD are indexers are actually from the 3D cockpit. I initially thought this would bother me. But it actually works out great and is pretty convincing

We haven’t figured that out yet. I’m sure it’s software related with VD. But either way after 5 min you don’t even notice it anymore
