Wow, you were doing this back in 2007. I'm just getting started with maps. I'm a newbie. What app did you leverage to scan the map? Aslo, are you able to share the map image so I can print it out and try it locally?

if you havn't discovered "GOOGLE EARTH" yet you may want to look into it its a free download and has imaging much like this of the whole earth ,moon and mars as well as a flight simulator look it up . I'm going to go fly around on mars in my F-16

Its not a hologram! you have to look at the map with a certain kind of camera, and the image is motion tracked in real time on the cameras display...D-BAGS!

darteq ef thank you so much:) ok I am telling problem.. I am using unity4 and qualcomm vuforia sdk.. I import 3D model in unity but model's texture and colours not imported.. an example; i will import colourful chair but, i don't see colours and i don't see texture.. i see all of the chair is gray or blue or etc..if you can write e-mail adress, i will send you a video..
