August 15 : 17th Anniversary Götterdämmerung IPA : Stone Brewing Company

This week we're wishing Stone Brewing Company a very happy 17th Anniversary and enjoying their anniversary ale, the Götterdämmerung IPA, which true to what we have come to expect from Stone Brewing Co is a delicious hoppy monster of a beer, brewed with Pilsner malts and all german hops.
Matt is hungover from The Full Pint anniversary party, Stephen is hungover from all day filming of Master Pairings, and John is just tired.. from all day filming of Master Pairings.. but we do the best we can. ;)
On this weeks Master Pairings, Bill is joined by Stephen, and we're pairing some coconut shrimp, with .. you guess it, the latest Stone collaboration, Robert Masterson & Ryan Reschan /

I bought a bottle in CT today... Can't wait to try it!

The 16th was the one with rye malt and lemon verbena come on guys. ;) Haha the 15th was by far my favorite! Even aged a bottle that turned out well. The 17th was a really unique one and certainly far more floral, herbal and earthy than any other before it.
