I love how you mentioned that you're an archivist. I relate to this so much. I use an hourly planner and just write down what I do throughout the day. Then later I highlight the things that I want to memory keep/journal with stickers and pictures. I make a list on a memo pad each month of things I need to do/buy and I just check them off as I do them. I have quite a simple life so this works for me

So good to hear your voice again! Hug on the leg issues and the work overwhelm. I too had hobonichi drama. I didn;t even log in until around midnught NYC time lol I tried for two hours - same issues as everyone else. The next morning around 9 a.m. NYC time I tried again. I was then able to get everything I wanted (and that was sold out the night before) so I have no complaints other then I lacked willpower and bought too much lol

Great video. The spring rolls make me want to go get some takeout from the Vietnamese restaurant in town! The teal tombow marker is such a pretty colour. I love that you mentioned that it really is just paper and there is no need to stress about it. I went on the Hobonici site at 10pm to place my order and I couldn't get to the checkout page also. So I went to bed and tried the next morning with no problems. I also have enough on my plate and don't need my hobbies to frustrate me. First world problems indeed.

I hope you start feeling more relaxed and definitely feel better. I’m going to buy the Avec again. Maybe a fabric/leather cover. Def need to get the clear covers though. Also need to buy a knockoff Weeks size notebook for my coloring journal. Then I need a new reading journal. Not sure what for that though since I like it to be artsy/scrapbookie.

Haven’t purchased any Hobonichi products for 2025, if I do they will probably be decorative or covers I am enjoying the simplicity of some other similar planners that are available in different sizes like Sterling Ink, TheRoseyLife, etc. But it’s early still 😂 I also have trouble incorporating the small sticker books (rectangular type). I have begun cutting around things in the sticker or tearing them creatively
