I started with Hobo in 2023 and I am waiting on a black gingham Hon Cousin for 2025, so glad to see yours. And I went IMMEDIATELY and got that elastic band for this year's Cousin. LOVE IT. Thank you for discussing it. I like leather covers, so I got the brown one from this year's line up. I am hoping the blk gingham fits in it. Thanks for the video!

I bought the HON A5 hardcover for 2024 and am surprised with how well it’s held up so I think I’ll get another one for next year as well (I’m yet to place my order). I have a weeks I carry around with me for functionality but the HON A5 is my play planner, creative outlet and journal. It’s all the adult stuff I have to manage that I don’t want to carry around with me. This system has worked for me since 2022 so not messing with it! (I originally tried the Weeks in 2020 but couldn’t deal with hit at that point). Good luck for the 2025 set up!

Love your inspo! Have been in the weeks for a couple years, but feel like I need a bigger all-in-one, so thinking about the cousin avec because I use it as a planner/memory keeper/journal and would like to not have limits to using pics, screenshots, etc without getting too bulky. I have not been back in the plannering sphere here on yt for a while so I’m starting to watch more planner vids…but it took me a good several seconds to realise that seeing Felix in a planner video was not the usual, I have fell well and truly down the rabbit hole of Stray Kids for the last year and a half so as a subscriber for a few years welcome to becoming a Stay! The hobonichi weeks has really been the one planner that has consistently worked for me, I’m still undecided which cover I want to get but it will definitely be the weeks.

Although I moved out of the cousin to a Hobonichi plain gragh A5 for months now, i actually grab my cousin and read the daily quotes, cos some of them are good and i like to reflect to them,but some are quite questionable or kinda don't make sense tbh, still love reading them.

I love it! I’ve been wondering if it would be a good idea to get an outdated HON… but I use an A5 Hobonichi five year journal as my archive! It’s one book every five years, and I love that. So I can planner hop all I want because the five year is consistent.

I've been getting the cousin Avec since 2020 but this year I'm going for the full year book. The way I see it, I can always get the Jul-Dec book if things get wild, but the planner never leaves my house so the initial thoughts I had about it being too heavy or whatever back in the day are moot.

It’s called the “midori clip band” - I don’t think jetpens carries it though. I’ve seen it on atlas stationers, yoseaka, and amazon though! Just make sure you double check the size. I think they offer it in b6 / a6 too
