We got the outflow from that storm over the catalinas, crazy wind and rain. All our pool furniture is now stored in the garage until the season is over.

Awesome video Mike, as always. My new favorite thing: Stop the video at the start of a lightning flash and tap through it frame by frame. Really fun! (Just tap the period key for frame forward, the comma key for reverse.)

Spectacular stuff as always Mike. That clear air bolt at about 3 minutes - flash... one thousand and one, one thousand and two... BOOM. At that stage, I'd be inside the car. Oh yes, in the opening, did I see a lava lamp on the desk behind you? You're not old enough to know about lava lamps surely.

it's a tornado lamp haha, it spins and produces a funnel! And yeah, that bolt was not far, maybe a mile lol
