Our Everyday Alaska

Күн бұрын

In Homer we love when the Sandhill Cranes fly into the area for the summer. These 2 adults had their babies and we’ve watched them grow and very soon they will fly away for the winter and return in the spring.
This house is a home to a senior who can’t get out much anymore and so the picture windows are great for him to see the view of not just the bay and mountains but all the wildlife that comes around. We’ve seen moose rub their noses on the glass and munching on grass. And of course this family of cranes grow through the summer.
And we will see them again next year.
