"what goes up most come down. It's simple physics you see, the laws of gravity" I seriously doubt they could have played these lines any more perfectly. Jake's inflection is just spot-on, and the double bass on the latter part makes it even more goose-bumpy. Just perfect.

What I really love about that part is that the song doesn't slowly build up for the breakdown through silence. It just straight up spikes up the tension and then delivers this amazing breakdown.

Yeah, both Counterparts and Converge did it better. ABR had a good thing going when they relented on the 'clean breakdowns' but now they're in every song. They're what Misery Signals would be if the Bros. stopped trying. Harsh? Maybe, but END is everything this band tries to be. And their Christlite BS is what holds them back. Not saying the Frost sounds like an Xmas song or anything..
@KevinCorkran7 жыл бұрын

Lyrics: I hate the way The weight of your decisions Weigh upon me, I won't carry them on my shoulders My knees may buckle, but my resolve is strong I am the future and I'm here to prove you wrong You are concerned with dragging me down Everything in me won't let me drown Won't let me drown What you decide has impact on you forever It will cave in on you forever You can't ignore what surrounds you forever You can't ignore what surrounds you forever What goes up must come down It's simple physics you see, the laws of gravity I'll stay above the water Just to prove my persistence I'm holding on to my desire To improve our existence The remedy starts with me It's the logic we all need Take hold and accept it If you want things to be different Take hold and accept it If you want things to be different Take hold and accept it Take hold and accept it If you want things to be different I'm waiting impatiently While your skin turns thin You can't ignore what surrounds you forever Soon enough it will all cave in Ideas built upon a weak base Will slip away without a trace Like a house that's made of sand Being torn to the ground by the waves I promise to always see things from a better perspective One that won't block those who chose another direction And this promise to myself, I won't let it go (Won't let it go, won't let it go) I'll stand up, and take it all in With open arms, I'll accept what we've been given And this promise to myself, I won't let it go (Won't let it go, won't let it go) Won't let it go, won't let it go Won't let it go, won't let it go I won't let it go Won't let it go, won't let it go I won't let it go This promise to myself, I won't let it go I won't let it go Won't let it go, won't let it go Won't let it go, won't let it go I won't let it go

Man I swear I can feel emotions in all the licks holy shhyeawoow. I mean I get goosebumps and put to tears most of the times I hear his writing(as well as the lyrics). Either our souls are connected or I'm just receiving what their transmitting to the fullest. Maybe it's bc I write similar to this style of music and having grown up in the NJ/Nyc tri-state hardcore/metalcore scene from 95-2007, having been played in a few bands/shows all over and know the lifestyle. Def can remember liking these guys from the jump(and im a picky mf when it comes to music), a "fan" from the jump of hearing them God knows way back whenever I did. But I've watched they're whole career and made sure to tune in which i dont do alot with other bands unfortunately. Something about JBs voodo loll. I Hope they're gonna keep going and continue pumping out more awesome tunes. (seems they are tryn kinda as they just played a big show over here in PA I think It was).
