This song speaks a lot for me. 2016 was just a mess for me, so much drama in my own life and my family life. I've been accused of the things I didn't even do and every single one of my family hated me for my false accusations, thanks to my alcoholic aunt. Got beat up by my dad and even saw him beating up my mum to the point of her nose bleeding. Let's just say it was just a nightmare, I remember not speaking for an entirety of two weeks because all of my conversations with my family turned into arguments and I was too afraid and pissed to even say a word. But that's all in the past now and songs like this, Fault Line, Carpe Diem, Meridian and Redemption has helped me a lot to go through these harsh moments, well I wouldn't say it's over yet but I know through the strength of God I'll overcome all these evil that's distracting me and live a happy life. And this is where the last moments of the song becomes relatable "I forgive you queen of hearts, for through me he'll show you true love" I've forgiven them, through God and will prove to them how great he is. I want to thank God and August Burns Red to get me through my pain in life. God bless you all!

Anyone who says that August Burns Red are just another metalcore and, havent looked at the musical aspect of this band. They don't use the same time signatures as every other band. They change it up, they change tempos, and they definitley do NOT play the same notes in every riff for example: TDWP or Asking Alexandria. These guys are probably some of the best musicians in modern metal.

Wow.. So, I was having issues with my mom today after I've been trying so hard to change and follow after Him. Then I came to listen to this song.(And other's by them.) I don't know who exactly they wrote this song about or whatever, but it hit me. "Queen of Hearts, I forgive you. For through me, He will show you true love. Love." I need to be humble and loving. And as He changes me, and makes me loving. He'll change her through me. Afdkhdiws! He is so good.

@CRaDiCAL94 This song is about Jake Luhrs forgiving someone he does not name. Here's a quote "I'd have to say the title track, "Leveler;" it's a song about forgiveness. A person who was really close in my life did painful and hurtful things to me and withheld the truth for years. If I hadn't found a relationship with God and been saved by Christ, I would have done the same back to them." So its possible he was talking about the betrayal
