Miklós Nagy But it is. They've stuck true to their sound but were creative enough to have some instrumental interludes in a few songs. That shows they're thinking as a band.

tMattLZ pretty sue i hear a violin in there before the solo.... masterpiece for sure. although the name of the song doesnt really stick to the theme of the lyrics
@TobikunOuO9 жыл бұрын
tMattLZ no it's not, all it consists of is a shit load of chugging on guitar. :L
@Philliesfanno19 жыл бұрын
This song is the only song that is basically all chugging, but I prefer chugging + leads over just chugging (aka other metalcore)

"Martyr" Demand what you will never deserve Respect is gained by trust shown and earned Don't mask your pride with humility, while forcing others to prove their loyalty You've been a hypocrite for years, drawing swords as much as you draw their tears Demand what you will never deserve Respect is gained by trust shown and earned You build you strength off of your anger, fighting a selfish battle with no answer Your transparency has started showing Don't let fear guide you where you are going You would die for everyone else, but you won't live for yourself Do you mean what you say? Do you say what you mean, or will you find another lie another lie to hide behind? Keep speaking to the world about what you can't forget, you can't forget all the things you hold onto, refusing to forgive those that hurt you You're taking steps on a fine line, so you don't have to choose a side Good deeds are not recognized, when the heart's intent is full of pride You're taking steps on a fine line, so you don't have to choose a side Good deeds are not recognized, when the heart's intent is full of pride One day we hope you stop holding it on all in, and learn to let go and forgive (forgive)

"One day we hope you stop holding it all in, and learn to let go and to forgive." Hits so hard I'm glad that the song ends with it on repeat, which brought me to tears the first time I heard it. After being cheated on and going through a divorce I held on to so much anger and resentment towards her.

This song helped me so much already although I discovered this song about a week ago.. My best friend punched me 6 times in the face. I was hurt physically and mentally. He now has blood from his best friend on his hands and he ended the friendship almost instantaneously. The same day I discovered this song and searched up the lyrics. It made so much sense and it motivated me so much to move on with life without my best friend. I started going to the gym, eating more healthy and being more aware of danger caused by people. Thank you, ABR! You never disappoint :)
