Dude how is his kick sound so exposed like that. I mean you can actually hear very clear articulation even from foot to foot pressure. What an amazing talent we are lucky to have had in the drumming community.

@@BigProllum it’s far from being Amish. Super Christian yeah, but nowhere near being actually Amish. Strict Christian households which Matt,JB, and Brent all came from

Killllller quality stuff, love it! Are you guys getting your audio from the bands FOH or do you run your own recording device like a zoom or EAD?
@Lumerdrums9 ай бұрын
this has to be a multitrack recording from the foh desk, mixed afterwards. it sounds way too good for a zoom or ead10
@drummersanonymous9 ай бұрын
This was recorded from the FOH board, and then mixed after the show by Chris Ghazel.

I know Matt's getting old, and his new drum parts are substantially slower and less involved as past songs, but you can hear the unsteadiness when he's playing. Yeah he's several songs into a set and you start to get fatigued, but I know them big ol farming calf muscles are begging for double bass galore

Wild to think he doesn't have metronome in his ears the entire set. As a drummer, playing the slower songs is way harder than any of the normal/fast stuff. That is evident here for sure, but he's still solid
