I love this album. I love this band. I fell in love with "metal" music when I got inroduced to ATR "All That Remains" but these guys kick those guys' musics in the nads. I'm Christian, and proud to say it, and I think it's great there's music out there like this. These guys are blessed musically and lyrically.

I'm a christian myself and there are quite a few things I believe in, but not everything... I believe in god, who granted me this life, so I can learn that life is precious and shouldn't be wasted. Despite that I believe in god and jesus as saviour, I don't rub it in other persons face and there are some christians that think that everyone needs to believe everything they do! I believe, but I still got my own way of doing so and everyone has the right to chose that for themselves too.

I have met humble religious people who believe a certain way, and respect other beliefs openly, as long as they are given that same respect. Telling someone they're going to hell for saying that God is something he created is a failure to respect other people's beliefs. It's pretty funny, granted many religious people seem to perceive the bible as law, taking literal meaning instead of using them to aim at being a good person. Someone taking that concept and applying it to the other side of things is one of the many characteristics of humor.

But once you take into consideration there outlook on how to display there message and there outlook on corruption within christianity the song kinda clicks. All in all, for every song this band writes, you gotta remember that majority of there fan base are non christian metal heads so there lyrics have to play for them moreso, but the message is still there.

And, I never said these things were perfect, I simply emphasized that the core of human conflict is ourselves. My point being, it's illogical to think religion is the primary source of our problems. Social progress depends on first recognizing that the problem begins with our attitudes :)
