So I didn't purchase the brush, but it's because I can't. Since it contains natural hairs it would cause an allergic reaction for me. I have a mammal allergy caused by a tick bite and it's spreading everywhere. I think it's something to think about for the future, especially for vegan customers as well. I am happy the brush was successful though. It does seem like it would be great to use.

To get the last bit out of a tube, I twist a pipe cleaner to double it, open the ends and twist them together to fashion a handle at the top, it can be messy, but it works. Congrats on selling out your brush, that is thrilling! Love your videos! There is no more thorough review than an empties, TY for doing these, one of my favorites! ❤

If anybody's looking for a STOOPIT-rich body butter / cream that isn't bonkers expensive, Nubian Heritage is still my go-to (ever since the fools at Bliss decided to reformulate their body butter which was literally a cult fave since the mid 1990s). It's like thirteen bucks, comes in a dozen formulas/fragrances including unscented, looooaded with hefty natural plant butters and oils, and is mega thick -- like, "I usually get a bread knife, saw the bottle in half, and decant it into a lidded jar" thick bc it's such a pita to squeeze out of that stiff bottle.

There is a fantastic product called “boodah butter” and it’s the greatest body butter I’ve ever tried and saved my skin during pregnancy.

Expensive for what it is, though -- hot (literally) tip, you can buy those five things (shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil) in bulk, mix in your desired ratio, melt in the microwave, stir, and pour into the airtight jar of your choice! I've made my own hand and cuticle balm for years, with EO/fragrance oils added for scent, though I also add a little beeswax to help seal in moisture and I prefer mango seed butter to shea as the latter will often crystalize into tiny little clumps without an emulsifier which I don't feel like screwing with (which, like an antimicrobial, isn't really necessary if you're not including water-based ingredients like aloe or glycerin).

@@themisfitmama4397 Oh awesome! The smell you love in that is prolly the cocoa butter, and maybe coconut oil if they use one that's raw/unrefined (those are scentless). And fyi, if you ever want to do hand/cuticle balm, my recipe is 1 part mango butter, 1 part coconut oil, 1 part beeswax, plus 30-40 drops of EO/fragrance oils (don't use too much real citrus oil, they can increase UV sensitivity). I like the little rectangular metal tins with sliding lids for purse -- I get mine from PaperMart (don't even look at their fabric ribbons or giftwrap unless you're ready to drop a shitload of money, heh) but you can find them tons of places! And Brambleberry is great for EOs; their leather, black pepper, and cedar are longtime faves (and fairly economical, esp if you buy larger bottles bc you also use them in linen spray, oil diffusers, etc...)

I'm also one of those "at least five lip products in my bag at all times, and a balm/treatment on my desk, in the living room, bedside table, kitchen, everywhere I spend an hour or more" people too. Last year I finally succumbed to the hype and tried the Laneige lip sleeping mask fully expecting to hate it and ... yeah, I love it. Don't even mind the price, since that jar is equal to about five normal chapstick-type things, and even applying 2-3 times per night (tea and snack in bed while Kindle-ing) it lasted AYY WHOOOOLE YEARRR. Just finished Cherry Blossom, on to Mango, and there's a Pink Grapefruit backup in the closet. Also, AOA Studio's "I Heart Dew" is my platonic ideal of a lip oil type thing (holy shit how does it wear so long? the first one I plopped onto my work desk where I spend ten hours a day lasted four months) /and it is under two dollars/. I went back and bought a dozen more: necessary bc I keep giving them to friends.

Like Medic8 Peptide Serum which is by far not cheap, yet the pipette is so short you can’t get the last 1/4th of the serum unless you turn it upside down and pour it out. So frustrating. Please try the ETUDE Soon Jung X Director Pi Moisture Sun Cream (the chemical version in the blue tube- not the white mineral version)! I’ve tried so many of the popular East Asian sunscreens (BOJ, Round Lab, Skin1004, d’Alba, Dr. Ceuracle, Anessa, Biore, Canmake, etc.) and I keep coming back to the ETUDE one. It’s immediately invisible on the skin, doesn’t sting my eyes, and never pills with any of my skincare or under makeup. Round Lab and BOJ used to be my #1 favorite sunscreens until I tried the ETUDE one. So underrated!!
