Glad the days are getting milder and you can enjoy your gorgeous garden. I am amazed at your agricultural accomplishments, and know our ancestors do, too!!! 💚🌱

It looks like you'll have a lot to harvest. Your corn stalks look great! Good for you! We're still in the 90s with humidity in the 80+%. The famous 'They' keep promising rain and a cool down. I keep hoping. I'm planning on sowing Kale seeds next week and hopefully will get a nice crop of it this fall. Our fall is supposed to be a warm one so not sure how long of a season I'll have this year but think it'll be longer than the 'normal' one. Love my cherry tomatoes! I put more in the freezer today. It looks like my Sweet Potatoes will also be a bumper crop this year. I cut some of their leaves to use instead of spinach today - YUM! Right now, gardening in one day at a time.

Oof... that's a lot of heat and humidity! I hope you get a cool down soon! I love how versatile cherry tomatoes are. Most don't make it into the house though because they're such fun garden snacks. I'll be lucky if any of my sweet potatoes grow. My groundhog has consistently eaten all the leaves since I planted them. They keep growing new ones though, so maybe it'll be okay. I really hope so because I have a lot of pressure from my mom!

@@theladysgardenandhome Are you growing your sweet potatoes in the ground or in a container? It seems they are easier to grow and especially harvest when grown in a container because you just dump it upside down on a tarp or something and go through the soil instead of digging in the ground for them. A container will also keep the groundhog away. We are 'only' 83 degrees today, however the humidity is much higher than that. But we did get some rain last night so that helps.

@@tennesseenana4838 I have them in grow bags. He can get to the leaves because they spill over :-( I agree, though I find it's very easy to grow potatoes and sweet potatoes in containers.
