Hi, I just discovered your channel recently. I really enjoyed watching this video and your book reviews and recommendations. “The Book Club Hotel” looks like an interesting book and is on my TBR list 😊. I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately so hoping to find some cozy and uplifting books to read for the fall season. I think one of my most memorable moments back in my university days was spending time in the library, even if it was studying, because there is just something so comforting and special about it (all libraries in general). As a child up till now as an adult always love to visit my local library. Looking forward to watching your other videos and your next one 🙂👍. Take Care, Sophie (New Subscriber and Viewer from Canada 🇨🇦).

YEEEESSSSSS! 😍 What a bargain! When it comes to books, there’s always room for more! 😅 Library book sales are the best! And often (I know ours does) the money they raise goes to local causes too! We donate all our book sale takings to a local group that runs a free breakfast program for the homeless. ❤️

Yes I bet you will miss working in that beautiful library ….. I am reading The secret beach by Veronica Henry and enjoying it I read a book called Thornhill by Pam smy such a good book and finished a book which is the first in a English cozy murder mystery called Death on the rocks by Hannah Ellis which I enjoyed and have the second one here to read ….September I want it read the Thursday murder club series by Richard osmon who has a new book out soon which is the first in a new series by him ……and have a few English cozy murder series I want to continue with plus there should be a national day of reading like a public holiday just so everyone can sit and read ….anyone agree ????😂…… 📚📖 🧡

Love the Thursday Murder Club! Joyce is my hero! ☺️💕 There really should be National holidays dedicated to reading. At least 4 a year…

I am half way through the 2nd book with Molly the Maid called The Mystery Guest. What a crazy coincidence! Sounds like it was a good month for you!!

Did you read the first one? What do you think of the second one?! I love Molly as a character 🥰
@mollyalladin24312 ай бұрын
@very.casual.librarian I did read the first book. This one again has her misunderstanding people. I am a little more than half way through and I think it's going to start closing some loose ends. I like Molly too!

Absolutely! My advice is to try different genres to see what you enjoy! My taste varies with my mood and what’s going on in my life, so it’s good to know the sorts of things you like to read! Also if you find a particular author you love, you can find similar authors to them on websites like Fantastic Fiction or Literature Map. Thirdly, join your local library and ask your librarian! They can tell you what’s new and popular, and also give you recommendations based on what you enjoy! Happy reading! ❤️📚

I read horror year 'round, but I'm looking for the cozy variation right now heading toward Halloween. I'm listening to the audiobook for "Someone You Can Build a Nest In," by John Wiswell, which is perfect.

Isn’t Halloween the best time for Horror?! 🖤 I have some on my TBR too! I can’t wait to get into them!
