So much evil in the Church today is a direct result of a failure to pray. Fortunately, the Church has provided us with so many ways to connect with God. The most important and powerful are the Sacraments, but just being willing to sit with the Lord is a crucial part of our spiritual lives.

Years ago I didn’t have a solid prayer life. I love Mother Theresa, I was reading about her and she had said to grow in prayer life…every morning wake up and say good morning God. This has caused my prayer life to explode. I started that small and now I can’t live without it. Bless this Saint and ask for her to pray for your prayer life❤

Thank you Dianne. I have a special ( thing) for our Lady especially Our Lady of Guadeloupe. The Aztec s were rolling heads down the pyramids and she chose a peasant! He kept bugging the bishop, and all of south America / Mexico came under our Lady! . Mother Theresa took on an undergoing of amazon proportion! One dying person at a time. I had a face book friend from a q&a catholic deal .he was blessed publicly by Mother Theresa! In India

My mom and most of our 8 kids wer late. Stressful morning someone sick etc.. she paused and took a deep breath andsaid a hail Mary. Because of her pause, we were Not hit by the snow plow.

Wish I was good at writing dialogue well written into novels or into scripts for even a one act play while there is a writer's strike in Hollwyood because now I wouldn't have to move to work down there thanks to the according to many 'evil' world of computing. Can I be forgiven for gasp! Becoming what my dad and his coworkers used to call only scabs? If people knew how much I get tempted to act Machevellian instead of just too they would for sure be shocked. I would need more than prayer when taking the advice of that one professor in an English class on how to write dialogue in fiction better by doing a lot more eaves droppping of other people's conversations while I am sitting in a public place having a coffee alone. Most of all during a pandemic. Thank goodness that is over. I too believe everyone's prayers must have had something to do with seeing that the pandemic over.

You pray and you pray but your prayers are never answered, you say to yourself that God works in mysterious ways and perhaps with God's help everything will be alright in the future but you know deep down inside yourself that your pleas and prayers will never be answered because in the big scheme of things you are just not important enough for Jesus to take any action on your behalf. Jesus is a busy guy and there are millions of Christians praying to him every minute of every day, that's billions of prayers he has to consider and prioritise, next he has to check up on whether or not you have been faithful and have been paying your tithes, whether you have asked forgiveness for the plethora of sins you have committed lately and whether or not you have been attending church. If you get a pass on all of God's questions then maybe you'll be put on the list but this is no guarantee that Jesus will see things your way and grant your wishes. You would be far better off asking Satan for help, he's always happy to to listen and he doesn't want ten percent of everything you own. Your choice.

You have to pray for the right things such as fortitude, faith in God's providence, and hope, etc. God answers those prayers. He is quick when we ask for the right things.

Dear Jesus in Heaven, I have been your faithful servant for many years, I have tried to follow all your rules and it has caused a lot of conflict with other people during my life. I have been abused, ridiculed and have lost a lot of friends when I nagged and pestered them to join me in my hourly prayers to you, a lot of them became hostile when I pointed out that they, and their children were going to roast in Hell forever if they didn't become as rabid as myself. Now I am unemployed and behind in the rent because of you and I feel that you owe me something for leading a life of abstention and dedication. I am not asking for much, just the same deal you have given to all the famous Preachers such as Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer, Robin Bullock, Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland etc, large mansions, expensive overseas vacations, big limousines, servants, private jet aircraft and so on. One way this could be achieved would be if you arranged for me to win the New York Lottery, $100 million would be very nice and if you find it in your heart to make this possible I will gladly donate five dollars to the church of your choice.
