The Bible says we should always give God the glory. Humility is probably the best of all Virtues. I think thats what your hitting at with respect to your skill. Intuition, experience, and Gods help. Sometimes I say your the luckiest Person I know after you take one of those hairy Trees down. God given talent. Humility always brings admiration. You dont want People to think too highly of you.Just another Arborist, but look at what a Conquest that sketchy Tree was. Love your Channel .

Thanks for this video. Most of us have dark feelings about the future we may face. No matter what happens in our world, many of us can be optimistic because of our faith in God and Jesus. I think of the most eloquent analogy, about the man that was on trial for murder, and upon his conviction and then hearing the judge read out the sentence...... death, quietly a man stood up and stated that he would take the man's place and be executed so that the condemned man could go free, Imagine the feelings that the man had, knowing that someone sacrificed himself to save him. If it were me, I would do anything I could to glorify the man who gave his life for a rotton lowlife like me.

Thanks for keeping it real August! You have always walked with grace and humility whenever you have talked about your faith on the channel and I'm sure that has had some unbelievers pondering. The gospel is the purest form of freedom! By putting our faith in Jesus we don't need to worry about if we are "doing enough" to grow the church. Living in radical freedom and pure unconditional love that can only come through Christ is something that can be seen even when words are hard.

Good for you August! "And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day" John 6:39. But we are called by the father to evangelize. What we say has a real effect of the hearts of our neighbors. When I first started watching your videos in 2015 I was an angry atheist and it was the things I heard you and other men I respect say about god and their faith that softened my heart and bought me to Jesus. Hey, August. Good to hear you speak. Always thought provoking I'm mostly Scottish, but my mom's American, I lived over there age 11-15, one of my sisters is still there, plus many cousins, etc, so I've had a lifetime connection to the States. I wonder now if it's as free a country as "advertised". Oh my goodness, it's an amazing continental landscape but what kind of freedom? It is the land of opportunity, if you buy into the capitalist system. Emphasis on "buy". If you're not interested in money...? Interesting article in Uk Guardian today about Amazon warehouse workers in the States getting injured at work and left out to dry. A company that makes billions and they can't even share a little with the ordinary folk who make it happen. Profit over basic decency. Acht. Not sure our politics align and, though brought up a Christian, I'm not a believer, and yet I agree with you on so many things. Wishing you well. Mark
