Thanks, Brady! I think it all comes down to reducing tension (tongue, neck, jaw), allowing the voice to be free (not forcing vocal cord closure) while properly supporting with Appoggio breathing (lifted Sternum, expanding the rib cage and lower back). So it's not about taking in a lot of air or tension in the breathing. It's about being fully relaxed and expanded. I've found these to be the biggest difference makers in my growth as a singer and in my ability to post long notes. I hope this helps!

@@TimWaurickMusic Wow! I actually didn't expect you to reply! I am honored! Yes, that does help! It is easy to tense up when you're singing, especially live. Whether it is going for notes that are towards the end of your range or holding a frickin' 40 second note like you did here! Well, I know this obviously isn't live. But I have seen a lot of performances from you with Vocal Spectrum, and you still are able to pull off stuff like this live effortlessly. But it will be easier the more I practice and try to remember to let everything being free, open and relaxed. Awesome to hear that great advice from you! TYSM!
