I’ve loved her version since the movie premiered, something about Lea’s voice is just so beautiful and soothing, always has been. I listen to this every NYE (and anytime really) but I hate that you have to buy the full soundtrack just to get this song

Whenever I’m asked about what Lea song is my favorite, it’s this one. It’s not hers but she owns this song vocally, I mean honestly what she does with it, the control, the breaths, every bit of it makes me smile, cry and then smile some more. It’s so ridiculously beautiful and just…ugh there are no words 😩. There is NONE like Lea, she truly is one in a lifetime. “We’ve wandered many weary foot” gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME, the beautiful way she sings that part with such heart 😩 the woman is just ridiculously talented, not even sure if Lea even realizes the extent of her talent. She’s been blessed by the Lord with that voice, and I’m so glad I got to grow up with her til now and hopefully I get to see her shine as Fanny too ❤
