I’ve just lost my 91 y/o husband and two days later my 63y/o son died too. So many people over the years have commented that I’m such a strong woman. I know in my own strength I’m definitely not but tonight these words had new meaning to me and I now understand where my strength lies. I have always known that but I have never felt the weakness and frailty such as I am this week and these words seemed to perfectly describe my need for the Heavenly Father’s strength raising me up.

I totally understand where you are coming fyom. I am 70 back in hospital with my COPD. Feeling frail and vulnerable atm. I’m always there for others and bern told ftom anout 7 years old you are a strong person. I’ve always believed my strength comes from within g myself but I know I rely very heavenly on my Heavenly Father to support me and raise me as he sees got. I just wonder how much longer and how much more I can take. Then I see or speak or get a hug from my grand children or if so lucky my great grandchildren. And I know he lives through them too. Even if they don’t fully understand that themselves yet. I know he walks amongst us. Trying his best for humanity. But it’s not an easy world yo love and understand sometimes. But keep your faith and listen to music that feeds and soothes your found GOD BLESS YOU AND WALK BESIDES😮 YOU.

Bless your heart. That's a lot of loss. Some people think strength is clenching our fists and never letting them see you sweat. Strength for me is allowing myself to be vulnerable. That's when love can get in and help you heal. I raise my hand to God, and I ask for help. That's what he's there for.

This song brought me through raising 3 children alone, caring for Mom with Alzheimers and working 13 days on, one day off for 7 years. One dreary , early dark winter's day, I was driving, feeling I couldn't go on any longer with my burdens when this song came on the car radio. All of a sudden tears were blinding my drive, so I pulled over and cried the cry of a lifetime. This song reminded me I did not have to walk alone anymore. I'll be forever grateful this song came at such a time. Thank you, God.... and Josh Groban.

Sometimes I had to work full time and two part time jobs but they got through college and all are successful but I lost my middle son to cancer two months ago. My heart is broken but I know that he is in Heaven. I’m just grateful that I could be their mother and to know what love was and how to give it to them. hows it going, bro Psalm 118:8-9 “8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. 9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.” Ayo, I don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events. *IF* anyone is interested, read on. *NOTE:* I can’t prove God to you. It all comes down to your choice to put your trust in Jesus Christ. That’s all faith is-TRUST. Unfortunately in these recent years, science and “religion” (as we know them today) have bastardized each other and themselves. Point is, faith is trusting in Jesus. It’s not a blind jump into what people deem “irrational.” Billy Graham said something reminiscent of that. I have no power over you. I can only tell you, but I can’t force you. (I mean, we’re conversing online lol. I’m not at your location… yet) james 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Check out “HolyLandSite, Cold-Case Christianity, Delafé Testimonies.” There may be more, but those are the ones I know of. religion (Christianity) is just a relationship with God along with loving others (see james 1:27) *NOW, ONTO THE EVIDENCE!! (WHOO-HOO)* We also found Noah’s Ark hanging out in turkey, along with anchor stones marked with crosses signifying that it’s a revered place, along with altars and many other related findings. Look it up, it’s good stuff (HolyLandSite on KZbin). more evidence for the Bible concerning cosmology and divine revelation in job 26:7, proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 (read on) The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC) The idea that the Earth floated in space was concocted circa 500 BC. Note: time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000, year 420, year 69, year 0, year 1, year 2… and so on. Job 26:7: “. . .He [God] hangs the earth on nothing” The book of Job was supposedly written at 2100 BC. Proverbs 8:27: “. . .when He drew a circle on the face of the deep. . .” Proverbs was possibly written between 970 and 686 BC Isaiah 40:22: “it is He who sits above the circles of the earth. . .” Isaiah was written between 739 and 680 BC. This one doesn’t pertain to cosmology, but it refers to divine revelation nonetheless. So you know how the Euphrates River is drying up? Well, guess what? People in the Bible are saying: “Been there, done that.” Read on to learn more. Isaiah 11:15 “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.” Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.” How did they know about this? You tell me, my fellow Zoomerz. *NOW FOR EVIDENCE OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE* The Holy Spirit exists. I was suicidal for 9-ish months, but then I read John 3:16, and poof- the big sad went away in one night. Also, look up John Gabbana's (boonk gang) testimony. Dude did a lot of wacky stuff. He's changed now. Check out “Delafé Testimonies.” They got some good stuff as well *YOU CANNOT DENY THE WORK GOD DOES IN PEOPLE’S LIVES* also, the soul exists. someone i know (i won't say who-privacy reasons) saw their soul leaving their body. like pulling off a band-aid, except it doesn't hurt. *There are also non-Christian sources who have confirmed the existence and divinity of Jesus, some of which were hostile towards Christianity, such as:* Thallus (52 AD), who said Jesus lived, was crucified, and confirmed the darkness and earthquake that followed Christ’s crucifixion; Tacitus (56-120 AD), who called the followers of Christ “Christians,” confirmed that Jesus was crucified under Pontus Pilate’s command; Talmud (400-700 AD), confirmed that the disciples were martyred for their faith, and confirmed Jesus was executed the day before the Passover, and said Jesus had “magical” powers; Pliny the Younger (61-113 AD), who said that the Christians thought Jesus was/is God in the Flesh (God the Son); Phlegon (80-140 AD), who said Jesus had the ability to predict the future, and confirmed that Jesus was crucified during Caesar’s reign, confirmed Jesus rose from the dead, and confirmed He showed His wounds to confirm He was crucified; Celcus (175 AD), who said Jesus was born of a virgin, said His father is a carpenter, and confirmed Jesus had miraculous powers; (See cold-case Christianity for more details) Here’s the physical evidence of Jesus and His Resurrection: 1) No persecution would have started if He hadn’t come back (even the disciples thought Jesus would never make the ultimate comeback) 2) The Roman soldiers would have paid with their lives if they failed at their jobs 3) there was a 2-4 ton rock that 11-12 guys would have to move (The disciples deserted Him, remember? They didn’t have any help. Everyone said, “Crucify Him!” major L to those opposed to Jesus) 4) there was a Roman seal which was a metal pin that sealed the tomb stone (they would have to break that off; there were well-trained Roman guards there as well). 5) Stealing the Jesus’s body isn’t something the disciples would do (besides Judas. Although he hung himself after feeling remorse for betraying Jesus). 6) the disciples wouldn’t die for what they knew would be a lie. (The lie being Jesus never made the ultimate comeback. They were called to not be liars. I mean, they hung out with the Son of God/God in the flesh. Come on, now). faith, science, and reason, people (as we all know them today, and as it was before all those things were tarnished) hell was never meant for us, my fellow youtube user. it was for the devil and his squad, and God gave us the Way out of there since we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Brothers, what have we done. look at us. look at what we've become. This isn't right. we're wasting time going on about girls and sus drawings that don't give a f*ck about us. What is the point of lust? Why do we do this? This doesn't fix our problems, doesn't make the stress and pain go away. repent to God, friends. We must stay focused, brothers, on what really matters. I'm only 17, but I'm telling you, in the words of johnny cash, "sooner or later God will cut you down." I don’t want you to suffer like I did/do. *YOU WILL LOSE ALMOST EVERYTHING IMPORTANT TO YOU! PLEASE, FOR YOUR SAKES, REPENT AND TURN TO JESUS! SAVE YOURSELVES FROM YOURSELVES!* It’s a pit you *CAN NOT* get out of. *AGAIN, I DON’T WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE I DID/DO! I LOVE AND CARE FOR YOU TO TELL YOU THIS!* He is, to quote Skillet, "better than drugs." He is also *WAY* better than lust. love is greater than lust. You'll find out that this is true. love may hurt, and same for lust, but lust will keep you chained down, eventually killing you mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and possibly physically. AGAIN, I DON’T WANT YOU TO SUFFER LIKE I DID/DO! God knew and knows we are wack, but He decides He’ll come down and help us, despite our unfaithfulness. most relationships (like friendships, romantic relationships) aren't like this. Very few, but not a whole lot. hit me up to learn more about how science proves the Bible or just about God in general

I love this hymn so much. When I was young and my family's house burned down, other children in my class at school made fun of me because of the used clothes that a charity in town brought out for us. Those clothing were a gift to my parents, as they were in debt having to build another house for my family. My classmates didn't want to sit beside me, because I was the poor kid on the block. This beautiful hymn, "You Raise Me Up When I Am Down", along with others we sang at Church lifted me up to be a child of God Almighty. That Music was what I most needed at one of the most critical times in my young life.

Music is very powerful. EDIT; it's been close to 9 years since I lost her, i'm thankful for her. and i'm thankful for all the love i've gotten from here. It's helped me a lot over the years. Lori, I’m saddened that you are dying. We all will die too. This is not our home. Our home is in Heaven with our Lord, our redeemer and Saviour. Our life here on earth is short and the meaning of life is to follow Him and await patiently until He calls us home. In Heaven there is no illness, sorrow, nor tribulations but joy to be with our God. Rejoice in the Lord and know that He loves you more than any person can here on earth. Even if we have lots of friends, married with children, and have parents, no one can replace God. He walks with us daily and when we are going through pain, depression, illnesses, etc. He is the only one that will never abandon you, He will walk with you daily, hold your hand, and he is carrying you right now. No one on earth will love you like He does and He will never disappoint you. When each of us die, that journey is undertaken with Him alone. If you have God with you, you realize you are not alone. I will keep you in my prayers, so here on earth I’m your friend. I hope this consoles you.

This is such a spiritual song that it takes my breath away! When I am down and weary who promises to come and sit a while with me? Jesus says, "I will never leave you or forsake you". He is never too busy to come to me like some others. When I turn to Jesus in my weakness; He lifts me up on His shoulders like a loving father with their little one at a parade. Then I can be more than I ever could have been on my own. He enables me to "stand on impossible mountains that enter my life and still the stormy seas that so frequently trouble my life. I wonder if others see Jesus in this song the way I do? I hope so!

"Still? In 2021?" "Always." There aren't words enough for how great God truly is. Even in the midst of the worst of times, He is always with you. Turn to Him and let your troubles lay upon Him and find peace in knowing they are not your burdens. Give them to Him and pray for His grace. Let Him in and know all that you are missing in your heart. I found Him after 34 years of aimlessly wandering through life. Do not wait. Do the only good thing you ever need to do for yourself. Give you heart to God. Let Him take your cares and your fears and give you His mercy and peace. You deserve it. He longs to be with you.

@Tucker Look what God allowed to do with His Son. Freedom and free will is one of the foundations of whole creation. Otherwise we all were just dolls or robots. God is never cruel, humans are. We all have a choice till the end. No " Minority Report" like world. Please give God a chance to approach you, to heal you, to whipe away your tears. Jesus was raised up by a cross first, then by His glorious ressurection. That is our way to follow, to overcome this fallen dark world. Greetings , much love and God bless you! 🙋🙏❤️

@Tucker I'm only 14 and don't have as much life experience as you do: I also have never gone through the things that you have gone through. I'm tremendously sorry for what has happened to you. Let me try to answer your question though. I've doubted God as well. I've also questioned my faith. But here is what I found: First off, your very question implies you believe in a difference between good and evil. This means that there must be a standard between good and evil. Which means there must be an objective moral law. But if there is an objective moral law, you must posit an objective moral lawgiver. If there is no moral lawgiver, there is no moral law. If there is no moral law, there is no good. If there is no good, there is no evil. *That's one of the proofs of God's existence: but I'm sure that that's not what you're asking. What you're asking is why would God allow so much evil in the world.* I've asked this question myself, and this is what I found. If God truly loved us, he had to give us free will, or else God's love wouldn't have been true love. We would've been robots. That's why he placed the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil in the Garden of Eden. But humankind chose evil, and that's why sin entered the world. All the hurt in this world, all of it is caused by sin. You're asking why God allows evil in this world. If God were to truly love us, He had to give us free will. If God gave us free will, that means evil must be permitted to exist. Now if God gave laws to protect us, then why doesn't He step in to protect us? Why doesn't He stop your mother and stepfather from abusing you? Because God must allow free will. God cannot stop your mother and stepfather from abusing you because they have free will and if God were to intervene then He wouldn't be truly loving them. You ask, But God intervenes in the Bible, why doesn't He intervene now? The answer is that those are extremely critical to His plans and that is why God intervenes. I have more to say, but I have to go now: if you want to hear more, please reply, I'll do my best to answer. God bless you.

@Tucker Hell is not where God sends us. It is a consequence. If I really don' t believe in physics and jump out a window, then I might die because I am a biological, physical beeing. Human beeings ( even animals)are not only physical beeings. We are created out of Love for Love. So when we decide not to love or ,even worse, not to accept love, the consequence is a place without love...hell. Greetings from Germany 🙋

Tristan Hendon That's why I didn't even respond to the comment. The Bible tells us we will be persecuted for our beliefs. I know not all believe as I do, God gave us freedom of choice. You can't explain God to someone who is angry with Him. He asks us to love one another. Not just those who believe as we do.
@haleyfetchik81797 жыл бұрын
Allington Marakan I respect you don't believe in God. Now please leave. You are only making yourself look like a jerk, who intentionally targets people so you have something to argue about. Is your life really so boring that you yell at people for exercising their freedom of speech? Religion is something wonderful for many, so who are you to tell them to stop it? How about instead of crying out how wrong we are, you go find actual proof we are so wrong. Actual, physical proof. Not some website you clicked on. Go dig somewhere and return when you've found physical proof God doesn't exist. I wish you the grace of God, because when we all face him, you will wish you had sat down, and instead of yelling about how wrong we are, actually listened and considered our proof and opinion. I will not be responding to any comment you direct towards me. I have much better things to do. I hope my small paragraph helps you open your eyes, and I wish you a nice day/night.
@c_____________83957 жыл бұрын
Allington Marakan why are you even here tho? Does your day only consist in commenting bad things on people's PERSONAL opinions? Because last I heard, this video has nothing to do with all the hate you spread. Your life is sad not because you don't believe in God, but because you are too worried about other's. Live and let live. No one went attacking you on things you commented, on things only you watched. MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS. If you don't believe then fine, that is how YOU want to live your life. LIVE AND LET LIVE! LET OTHERS LIVE THEIR LIVES.
