I just remember always being with my mom and my dad showing up in the weekends and them arguing and never getting along. So I was always thankful they weren’t together. I never wished them together. I used to be very anxious about not doing everything perfect all the time. Every fault i made i punished myself for days or weeks. And then i moved out and realised everybody makes mistakes. Like, telling your country and Queen to lock themselves in at home because of C-rona. Literal Queen sitting by herself at her husbands' funeral. But then you decide to attend and organise about 30 party's in your house and back yard. And you still get to be prime minister. And thats when you realise nothing actually matters as long as your basic needs are met. Everybody fucks up, and most get away with it. You're absolutely right, grass and dirt won't fix the chemical imbalance in my brain. They certainly improve my mood for two hours but they don't magically remove my depression and anxiety. I'm not a fan of taking medication either and the thought of medication altering the way you think is some scary shit if you dwell on it for too long but I do have the mental capacity to know that I need them to do that to stay sane and potentially alive at this point in time. So thanks but imma keep taking my lil sertraline nuggets to balance my brain until my psychiatrist says it's okay to stop taking them, if that's ever going to be the case, no matter what the neighbourhood Diane says :3
