“Did you really wanna get married or did you just wanna have a big party? You can throw yourself a big party, who’s gonna stop you, the government?” 😂👌🏼 Seriously though, a lot of people seem to get married and have kids because it’s “the next thing to do”. I’m worried that a couple of my friends are going to turn 35 and realize that they’ve rushed into things. My boyfriend and I have been together (off and on, I moved away and moved back) since high school, but we both know we’re not ready to get married yet. I think there’s still a lot of societal pressure to get married young, but people forget that your brain doesn’t even stop maturing until your mid-twenties.

I used to be very anxious about not doing everything perfect all the time. Every fault i made i punished myself for days or weeks. And then i moved out and realised everybody makes mistakes. Like, telling your country and Queen to lock themselves in at home because of C-rona. Literal Queen sitting by herself at her husbands' funeral. But then you decide to attend and organise about 30 party's in your house and back yard. And you still get to be prime minister. And thats when you realise nothing actually matters as long as your basic needs are met. Everybody fucks up, and most get away with it. Of course, dont be an asshole, but mistakes get made 24/7 and nobody got time to constantly think about them. Buzzkill is cute
