Auntie I pared down my decor during the pandemic. After years of lugging around and digging through totes, it's so much easier now and far more enjoyable (and calmer!) to decorate seasonally! I'm with you on that!

I’m all in on the reduction of stuff! I have three autoimmune diseases and have had seven surgeries in less than two years-basically been off my biologics during that time. So, now I’m getting rid of everything. But, like you my style has changed and I’m trying to embrace the minimalist. That’s still a work in progress! Great finds. I love florals and greenery!

I have been downsizing my seasonal decor as well...taste changing. Not quite as minimal as you, but it's a relief. It still feels decorated for holidays, but less work, more enjoyable for me.

I just want to simplify, I'm in a season of wanting to have the house in order so I can focus on loved ones and simply add a touch but not stress over storing eveything and redecorating all the time. I kept what I love that means the most to me and I can have it all put away in 5 minutes.

It's pronounced O-NY-DA. I started collecting their stainless steel flatware since I was 14. On the Gold Medal flour bags there were coupons worth different points. You would send in so many coupons and pay maybe $4.95 for a 5pc. setting of flatware. A My aunt's owned a restaurant and saved the coupons for me and they got the 25 lbs. bags of flour and the coupons would be 30 points, where a 5 lb. bag would only have 5 points. Anyway that's how I got my set. You could only get the set thru Betty Crocker, it was a special pattern Oneida made only for Betty Crocker My set is very old and still is in excellent condition. So you reminded me of that, Val. Love your haul.

Thank you so much Patsy! I've lost weight with all the walking and my blose was $3 from the thrift store! I started before we moves in 2021. I sold a TON on Facebook Marketplace and Offer Up. I did give some away, I also donated a good amount but for larger items I would sell alone and smaller items I would group together. I have continued to do the same here. Just take it one bin at a time. I started with whatever the next season would be and every season I have widdled down to what I love. I have one bin of FALL!!!! I have way too many of Christmas, I believe 6 but I am focused on getting that down as the kids move out and I can give them plenty to have thier own collections. Home you have a wonderful Eater!
