4K Farewell Doctor Yellow T4 video collection with other railways

This is a 4K video collection of the JR Central Tokaido Shinkansen Doctor Yellow T4 train, which retired on January 29, 2025.
The T4 train was filmed in various locations, with various other trains seen along the line.
Doctor Yellow T4 is a 923-type Shinkansen inspection train based on the Shinkansen passenger service 700 series that first appeared in 2000. T4 was the first to be able to inspect the Tokaido Shinkansen track while traveling at speeds of 270 km/h.
The Shinkansen passenger service 700 series was retired from the Tokaido Shinkansen in March 2020, but the T4 train continued.
Currently, inspection equipment has been installed on the regular Shinkansen passenger N700S train, meaning that Doctor Yellow T4 can be retired.
After retirement, the lead car will be preserved at the Linear Railway Park in Nagoya. This is near Legoland, and is easy to visit using the Aichi Aonami Line.
In addition to JR Central's T4 train, JR West has a Doctor Yellow T5 Shinkansen inspection train, which is scheduled to be retired in 2027.
