Can I ask you if did you already had the A1 German Certification before you found your hf or after you found your hf thats when you started learning to earn the A1 German Certificate? Hi! After applying for the visa in the Austrian embassy do you have to pick something in the embassy again? Will the send the visa to your house? Or can you just travel to Austria without worrying about that stuff?

Hi there! Unfortunately, you need to pickup your visa/resident permit at the Austrian Embassy yourself.

While i was in Austria i took the a2 course. And after being an Aupair there, i moved to another family in germany and finished my b2 . I then let my diploma, school cert. and etc be recognized so i can work here as a nurse (since i graduated in BSN). That is why I was able to stay and work here in Germany.

Hi Ms. Kate. Did you have your braces from a German dental clinic? May I know the estimate cost? I'm wearing braces and I dont know how to deal with it when I start aupairing in Germany. Thank you

Hi there! Unfortunately, German dentists won't handle braces that were not installed by them due to the liability issues. And yes, i have a german dentist (KFO) which costs around €4,500 (ceramic braces). I think the metal ones costs a bit less.

Hi Jenny! Unfortunately, that is not possible. You must submit the documents in person and you will also be interviewed a bit. I needed to travel to Manila before too.

Hi! For Austria, I waited for atleast a month. For Germany, it was just around 2-3 weeks. But it also ofcourse to the situation. I was already in Austria when I applied for both. What I hear from others , it took them around 2 to 3 months

Should my host family in Germany hand over the aupair contract and a sponsor letter to the foreign office in their area ? Or is it enough just to send me the aupair contract and the invitation letter?

@@malki1729 these documents should be sent to you because you will have to submit that yourself during your interview. Also, your host family can inquire the german embassy themselves about getting an aupair and the requirements/steps they need to know. Our process might differ because I was already in Austria that time while I applied for my german visa. So I am only telling you based on my experience. Hope this helps ♡
