How do you turn the volume down or up for the videos. WE bought one for my mom for Christmas and shes just figuring it out. I can't find a tutorial to remind me how to do it.

Go to the frame setting which is the gear icon. There is is a spot for "speaker volume". Tap on that and adjust lower or higher.

Happy to help! If it helps even more, the Aura Mason is the same as the Carver and Griffin. Same sizes and bezels. I think they have contracts with companies to have dedicated frame names for stores.

Actually those two are different on the aura site along with a Waldon frame. The Mason can be either portrait or landscape whereas the Carver can only be in a landscape position. The Carver can have portrait photos side by side and the mason can not.@@JuanCamacho21

Excellent video! Thank you for being so thorough.. Question: Do you know if the On & Off button can be disabled its under "check out what your frame and do" (based on the brightness of the room) It says there are more options- I'm hoping it can be disabled so it will play continually and not turn off.

I am not sure if it can be disabled, but mine plays continuously until I turn the lights off at night.

Glad it was helpful! Yes, she will have to download it and you might have to video chat with her to walk her through if she has any issues.

Can it be connected to google photos?

I am not 100 percent sure. I think you can only add from camera roll or computer but they have to be taken out of google photos to import

Its an app that you upload the pis from your iPhone to their app. You can be selective.

I'm confused. Did you change device/frame in the middle of the unboxing? The frame your showing pictures on doesn't look like the one coming out of the box.

So, just to verify: Is there is a constant stream of photos taking up bandwidth on the home network as they scroll? And no photos show when you don't have internet? Hmmm... not sure I like this. SD cards are cheap --- and I'm trying to limit the number of devices on the home network. When the company providing the cloud storage goes belly-up, or goes to a subscription model, millions of photo frames will stop working.
