Arabic characters are really beautiful, especially when they are written into words and sentences. it's like every word is its own uninterrupted piece of art. i may not speak the language, but we do use the numeral system - it would be amazing to see a video that shows how the Arabic numerals developed over time

Sorry to disappoint you, but Arabic does not use the same numerals. The numerals used by Europe and the Americas are called Western Arabic numerals. The Arabic world uses Eastern Arabic numerals, which function much the same way but look different. The more you know.

As a native Arabic speaker, I love Arabic calligraphy, and I am currently trying to study "Ruq'ah" and "Naskh" scripts, then I will move on to other scripts such as "Diwani" and "Thuluth" . Arabic calligraphy is not just a way of writing, it is an art in itself. You can search on Google or KZbin for Arabic calligraphy, and you will literally see artistic paintings. I prefer that you watch this video to see how we write it letter by letter.

My language is Urdu, it's pretty much same as Hindi except we use this Perso-Arabic derived script called Nashtaliq, while Hindi uses the Sanskrit derived Brahmic script called Devanagari. We also have slight vocabulary differences where we prefer to use words that come from Arabic or Persian more commonly, whilst Hindi speakers tend to use Sanskrit derived words more commonly, but both languages use either or. Both languages grouped together are called Hindustani by linguists, and combined have over a billion speakers (L1 and L2) around the world.

@enricograsso5983

@s.c.360 some letters are slightly different because they represent sounds that are not present in arabic. I study arabic and when I stumble across perso-arabic scripts I'm always confused because I instinctively try to read them as arabic but I'm not capable of doing it. Also arabic is a semitic language while urdu/persian are indoeuropean, so they have a huge grammatical and morphological difference

Islam says God is most merciful. Let's test that. Would your god die for you? No. Would Satan die for you? No. What a "coincidence." Would a hen die for her chicks? Yes. Therefore, a 🐔 is more merciful than your false god. A 🐔 proves Mohammed was a false prophet, ladies and gentlemen. See "Islam was invented by Jews." "God can't die!" This is the sin of attributing to God limitations he doesn't have. God DOES have the power to have like a clone version of himself, an Avatar, die to pay for our sins as our Substitute, yet God the Father stay alive to resurrect his Son. Evil spirits can possess people, so why can't God inhabit people such as Samson who had super strength by the Holy Spirit? God is a mistranslation of the Hebrew word Elohim which means GODS... who are one. The Old Testament says a man and his wife become one flesh. Does that mean they are not two beings anymore? No. They represent the Trinity. God made the sun to represent himself. The sun symbolically dies every day, and "resurrects." Nature declares Jesus is God. My favourite language is Aramaic because the Saviour Yahshuah (Jesus) used it when he paid for our crimes. Your god ignores crimes to forgive. Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness.

Keep in mind, this writing is used for begginers like when we were at elementary school so once you get used to it you don't put dots but instead you draw small lines and some letters can have various shapes depending on if they were on the start, middle, or end of the word.

My grandpa used to say jokes which involved the sultan putting up a sign in the village square, but then a fly shits on the sign and the meaning changes to something absurd because of the dot.

idk Arabic but the times I've seen it in the memes and anywhere else has some interesting calligraphy and patterns especially in long sentences. I like have memorized some characters and I sometimes dash off some random sentences out of those characters which surely dont make any sense to the arabic eye lol

It's like cursive, and the dots of different letters help distinguish the various loops. When you're learning there will also be vowel markers to help you.

Random facts about the write: he is writing in Khat Al- Nasekh (خط النسخ) thats why we see most letters dotted, meanwhile Khat Al- Ruqaa (خط الرقعة) most letters' dots are a line, and for the 3 dots they are an open triangle. And btw, ر ن و ي ى are above the line but ج ح خ ع غ م goes down the line

I noticed the dots were not written from the right so also with some other Arabic letters you wrote some started from the left...is there a formative writing principle guide someone should adhere to...or can anyone just improvise...just like teaching kids to write A It can be written with a first stroke or upside down v
