Well done Emma! I used to play accordion many years ago with your father Paul Smith...I have recently taken up the accordion again and I am re-practicing/rel-learning many of the pieces I played last including the spectacular Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in D Major Opus 35 3rd Movement (arr: Frank Gaviani and Mickey Bisilia) which I played at the 1983 National Accordion Championships (I played the William Tell Overture at the 1982 Australian Championships - another good piece). This Violin Concerto is one particular piece you might want to aspire to (contest winning number but extremely demanding piece) and I am more than happy to offer any useful assistance that I can if you ever decide to perfom it! Typically Deiro and typically demanding - although you made this appear absurdly easy. Wonderful coupler changes and such lovely hand and finger movement. Beautifully played, beautifully controlled and a thoroughly enjoyable listen for me.
