you should stretch the cloth much harder for it to bounce back instead of sinking in (on all sides, not only the two as it was done in the video). it will be faster and comfier when it is stretched correctly

A tip from Amy Oxford, inventor of the Oxford Punch Needles, about how to know if you have stretched your monk cloth tight enough: It should be as tight as a drum. To test it, drop a quarter from about 2-3 ft above, onto the surface of the Monk's Cloth and your coin should bounce back up like it's hitting a trampoline. When it is not quite tight enough, it makes your work much more difficult and the stitches less consistent. Check out her Amy Oxford's KZbin channel for some amazing tips! I LOVE YOUR RUG SO MUCH!! 🥰💞💕 ~~Christy~~

Where did you put the frame? If you lay it on the table then the needle will always punch against the table... Can you lay it on your lap when your in your bed for example?

Of course! I was sitting on my couch most of the time with the frame on my lap. To film the tutorial I put the frame on 2 elevated boxes, this works well too! :)
