The reason why it looked like you do not do damage to MF is because initially you hit the minions and you deal only 50% damage to nearby enemies. Also during laning fase you should target your breath at cannons and maybe do not cast 3rd skill intantly because you want to kill all minions with it to gain more stardust.

He needs a buff, Im an old asol M7 and I play a lot of champ especially late games like veigar kayle and nasus, and asol is taking so long too scale+ he isnt scaling as hard as he should be, he is losing 1v1s to adcs mages and assassins obv, he came out with syndra whos way more consistent than asol early and late

Long range mages punish him heavily midlane early game since he loses mobility trying to stack stardust with minions. Syndra, lux, ziggs, etc

It's also good to know that Aurelion 3rd skill works on Dragon and keeps them from moving so ranged heroes won't be targeted but melee heroes will still be hit

I think the Conqueror interaction with ASol is as it should be. The rune states "separate attacks or abilities will grant 1 stack," so it makes sense why Conqueror wouldn't stack by holding down his 1st ability since it only counts as 1 ability being used, therefore only granting 1 stack and nothing more (unless it is repeatedly spammed as you said). Though, I think it is weird that Riot put it on the "recommendation" for runes. Kind of misleading to new players.

On my first game with him I stole Elder with the empowered ult and with the blast I got a quadra-kill. Definitely takes a while to become useful though

I'm currently testing the aggressive asol playstyle prescribed by #1 Sol NA, only succeeded once. Charge towards the enemy as soon as they used their important cooldowns like dash and stuns. GG one-tapped. Also stacks a lot of stardust than just farming minions.

Yep - go skill E and ruin your wave - gain no stacks deal no damage and lose the game level 1 go forward 🔥

E first is how you play Asol tho? Have 10-15 stacks from E at early game is better than trying to dish out dmg with Q and risking the health

Nah Conqueror does work on Asol. Maybe u shall check it in practice mode. It is just worse, Conq stacks slower on his Q. In max rank Q where u can spam it, conq will automatically stack when its duration end. Even in lvl 1 Q, conq still works on him. Maybe it is just because his Q second, his burst dmg that makes conq stack reseting or just bug😅 And in level 1 asol u must take E first to gain his passive more. Cuz in lvl 1 u cant really use his Q to hit ur opponent especially vs ranged champions as it is not able to pass through minions

I also don’t like it. Easy to take out. In a 1v1 fight (same gold and lvl) you are likely to lose if ult is not available. It feels like using an adc champ actually since you mostly have sustained damage instead of a burst damage like other mages.
