I have been playing him since the rework and i tested everything. Your build is good, but i recommend liandry's first item then Rylai's (Since liandry's procs 1st strike). Then i would go scorch instead of bone plating since you don't need these defenses of you are this tanky and have crown. Also scorch helps proc 1st strike even more.

@@georgesesper Liandry's passive scales off your total AP, rushing it early just for the First Strike proc is unsound, Ryali's is what enables Aurelion and should be rushed regardless.

@@Exacerberus This is true. But my choice of itemization is based on the only major rune that currently works properly with Asol which is 1st strike. If conqueror works with the 1st ability, then liandry's wouldn't be a necessary rush.

Old Asol was a Battle mage that deals persistent damage but new Asol is a kind of Burst Mage . That's why Liandry is no longer required to be build on him. Old Asol had very complex and unique playstyle, but new Asol is a bit new comer friendly.

Aurelion Sol is a unique and complex champion who requires a lot of skill and practice to master. He is a champion who can be very rewarding if played well, but also very frustrating if played poorly. 😅 Thanks for being such a great player and entertainer. I can’t wait to see what you do next. Mid lane is the lane I know least about, I literally don't know how the abilities of a lot of mid lane champions work. I've only ever tried A. Sol twice, once last year before the rework and once like last week. I was shit in both games btw 😂😂😂😂. I'm glad you're doing a video on him, maybe I can learn a thing or two ✌️

Nice videos. Do you think they overdid it with the hotfix buff? Also, if the enemy team has no one building armor (it happens often) would you replace riftmaker for something else (since you don't really need the true damage) or is the lifesteal enough to build it? Final question: you said to not pick him into fast champions. Fair enough. If you are mid pick (i.e. you only know 2 or 3 enemy picks) would you still go for ASol or take someone safer in that case?

There's diminishing returns if building a lot of AP. I tend to go with one defense item depending on enemy lineup. Either searing crown or force of nature.

Post buffs I prefer Crown 2nd after Ryali's and Boots of Mana, Riftmaker usually last item, since Legend Bloodline is often enough. Crown's passive is broken OP, also its extra stats are all solid and the extra mana is also nice.

I don't like building Rylai on ASol, it delays your power spike too much. You can't clear waves efficiently enough and midlaners with gap close (Fizz, Ahri) or long range abilities (Vex, Ziggs) will prevent you to get stacks. I take Mana Band and Boots first to fix mana problems and then go Rabadon > Infinity Orb > Riftmaker/ Liandry/ Crown/ Soulstealer/ Horizon Focus depending on the game. If I'm getting harassed early game, I take Crown first. Works really well, and usually I don't get to full build because you can dominate with 3 items.

Ive used smite midlane sol a few times with this build and out earned my lane and has 250 by 15 minuts, what you lack in gold you get faster minion kills and 2 slow/speed buffs.. i... I think it works...

Ok so the way u want to upgrade your abilities is 2>1>3 1 and 3 ability only upgrade base dmg but 1ability deals more dmg when ur in 2 ability and this dmg scales w lvl.yeah unstoppable 1 ability is cool but more than 200% dmg from it is better

I thought conqerer would be good as well but 1st of all you don't really need all the ap, second of all im not sure if its a bug but e doesn't count as a proc and q only procs it every 3 bursts for some reason
