Her sound is very fragile, emotional and angelic. Her solo career songs are pretty heart breaking (so emotional and sad) and those songs are packed with a poetic lyrics but most of them are in foreign language. Some of her good solo songs: Johanna Kurkela - Kuolevainen (I once made english translation for the lyrics in youtube), Johanna Kurkela - Oothan tässä vielä huomenna (I once made english translation for the lyrics in youtube), Johanna Kurkela - Sun särkyä anna mä en. I don't usually even listen to that kind of music (I love Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom Metal, Metalcore, Thrash Metal, Progressive Metal and such), but her music has the strenght to shed some tears out of my eyes so that means some high standard quality right there.
