It is hard to say what Aurora was thinking when making this song, but the title and lyrics make me think of "Kessler syndrome". In "Kessler syndrome", many of the satellites currently orbiting the earth would get struck from debris from other satellites and cause them to break into many additional pieces of orbital debris, leading to more collisions and broken satellites. The situation has the potential to arise either unintentionally, or intentionally as an act of war (ex: due to use of anti-satellite missiles, so as to deny the adversary access to military spy satellites, GPS satellites used by guided munitions, military communication satellites, etc.). Unless someone did something to clean up all the space debris, it would make many earth orbits unsafe for any satellites, theoretically for many decades or even centuries into the future. Basically, we would get broken satellite debris clouds orbiting the earth, going around and around, with occasional pieces of debris raining down from the sky and streaking through the atmosphere as "fiery tear drops from heaven". Kessler syndrome has the potential to be somewhat "pretty", in the sense that it would make allot of mostly harmless "shooting stars" visible at night, but humanity would lose capabilities that the satellites currently offer (such as satellite based weather monitoring needed for making semi-accurate weather predictions, space communications, GPS, etc.).

What is it with a good 10% of Auroras fandom being hateful.
